Today I’m at my incredible friend event for the first time and honestly this friendship with that absolute powerhouse of a young woman has genuinely helped changed my life this year. No joke No fan girling bullsh*t…. Like for reals…

It has been my hardest year yet as I’ve been stepping fully into my business, into myself, and through the w**k ride that is fu***ng perimenopause.

I’ve been discombobulated as hell at times this year… it’s been rough I’m not gonna fu***ng lie! But without realising has held me, pushed me, definitely challenged me, and introduced me to a whole new side of me.

Along the way she’s brought an unbelievable group of people into my life who’ve done the same. Not asking for anything in return either.

I’ve made no secret of the fact that networking terrifies me. Social anxiety? Off the charts.

But today for the first time in two years I’ve walked into an event excited not fu***ng petrified.

That’s how powerful this event is.

VETERANS CAN… DELIVER!

And guess what? So can we!

For the first time ever (yes, EVER), Inclusive Minds UK has submitted a grant application.

For those of you who’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know this kinda admin is my personal idea of hell.

But here we are. I filled out the form. All by myself. No tears. No tantrums. Just one oversized brew and a few swear words. 😂

We’ve officially thrown our hat in the ring for one of the £10k “Veterans Can… Deliver” grants and we’ll need YOUR VOTE to get us over the line!

We’re hoping to use the funding to power our Different by Design research, spotlighting the lived experiences of veterans with neurodifferences.

Why?
Because we’re not broken. We’re different. Not less.
