🌿 MY LITTLE AYURVEDIC SCALP RITUAL 🌿

A little self-care for stronger-looking, glossy, nourished hair and a healthy scalp ✨

I’m using the Ayurvedic scalp treatment oil from Tri-Dosha that I use during my Indian/Ayurvedic Head Massage and Ayurvedic Arm Massage treatments.

Warm oil combined with scalp massage can help to:

✨ Stimulate blood flow to the scalp
✨ Nourish and moisturise a dry scalp
✨ Condition the hair and improve softness & shine
✨ Reduce dryness and the appearance of flakiness
✨ Release tension held around the scalp, temples and head
✨ Encourage deep relaxation and help calm the nervous system
✨ Support a healthy scalp environment for the hair
✨ Turn something as simple as hair care into a beautiful moment of self-care

In Ayurveda, oiling the scalp is so much more than simply making the hair look beautiful. It is a nurturing ritual — slowing down, releasing tension and giving a little love back to yourself. 🌿❤️

And yes… I practise what I preach. 😆🥰

Strong hair. Shiny hair. Relaxed mind. A little Ayurvedic magic. ✨

There’s a time for big balls, glamorous events and dressing up… and there’s a time for peace, stillness and simply being home. ✨🌿

It’s called balance. ❤️

Back home in my peaceful sanctuary.
Good morning, world. ☀️🍂

Wishing you all a beautiful, peaceful & blessed weekend. 🙏❤️

✨ YOGA IN BARTON — A LITTLE DIFFERENT ✨

After 10 wonderful years of teaching yoga in Barton, I’m incredibly proud of the beautiful community and atmosphere I’ve created. ❤️

This is more than simply a yoga class. It’s a complete wellbeing experience — a space to step away from the busyness of life, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling lighter, calmer, restored and deeply relaxed. ✨

My approach brings together my years of experience in yoga, Ayurveda and holistic wellness, creating something a little different from the usual fitness-style yoga class.

I’m very proud to have been recognised as:
🏆 Women’s Holistic Wellness Leader of the Year 2026 – Lincolnshire
🏆 Holistic Wellness Business of the Year 2026 – Lincolnshire

There’s something special about September sunshine… ☀️🍂 Soft, golden and warm, reminding us to enjoy every little moment before the seasons change. ❤️

No filter. Just sunshine, a smile and 53 years young ✨🥰

As you grow older, you realise what truly matters — consistency, peace, stability, love, and the people who choose you, every single day. ❤️

And perhaps that’s one of the most beautiful things about growing older… knowing what deserves a place in your life.

❤️ 3 Minutes of Self-Care: Ayurveda Meets Lymphatic Massage 🌿

A few minutes of gentle touch can be such a beautiful way to slow down, reconnect with yourself and prepare your body for rest. And yes — you can do this comfortably lying down, just as I am here. ❤️

❤️ 1. HRIDAYA MARMA — THE HEART CENTRE
I begin at Hridaya Marma, an important vital point in Ayurveda associated traditionally with the heart, mind and emotional wellbeing.

From a spiritual perspective, the heart centre is where we may connect with love, grief, heartache and emotional memories. I gently massage this area while breathing slowly, creating a moment to soften, reconnect and symbolically let go of old hurts, beliefs and emotions that no longer serve me. 🙏

🌿 2. NECK — LYMPHATIC SELF-MASSAGE
Using very light pressure, gently sweep down the sides of the neck towards the collarbones. Keep your movements slow and soft — lymphatic massage isn’t a deep muscular massage.

🌿 3. UNDER THE COLLARBONES
Place your fingertips just underneath your collarbones and gently work along this area. Don’t dig deeply — use a soft, light touch and gently stretch or sweep the skin to encourage lymphatic movement.

Close your eyes.
Breathe slowly.
Soften your shoulders.
Give yourself a few quiet minutes. ❤️

Sometimes self-care doesn’t need to be complicated — just touch, breath and a little time for yourself. 🌿🙏

For general wellbeing only. If you have lymphoedema, unexplained swelling or a medical condition, seek appropriate professional advice before trying lymphatic self-massage.
