The biggest lie women over 40 tell themselves isnât âIâm too old.â
Itâs this:
âIâll focus on me when everyone else is sorted.â
That day never comes.
Someone always needs you.
Work gets busy.
Grandchildren arrive.
The house needs attention.
Life keeps asking for more.
Meanwhile, your body keeps paying the price.
Every year you ignore your strength, you lose a little more of it.
Every year you avoid lifting weights, getting up off the floor gets harder.
Every year you put yourself last, youâre teaching everyone else that your health comes last too.
Hereâs the truth nobody likes hearing:
You donât lack time.
You lack boundaries.
Because if your doctor told you that you had six months to change or face serious consequences, youâd find the time.
Your health isnât waiting for your calendar to clear.
Itâs quietly adapting to every decision you make today.
Stop waiting for permission to put yourself first.
The people who love you donât need you exhausted.
They need you strong.
Be honest ladies what story have you been telling yourself?

One of the biggest things Iâve learned from coaching women is thisâŚ
Most people donât struggle because they donât know what to eat.
They struggle because they donât realise whatâs influencing their choices.
We like to think our decisions are logical.
But so many happen on autopilot.
You reach for chocolate because youâre mentally drained.
You skip lunch because everyone else comes first.
You snack while making dinner because youâve barely stopped all day.
You clear the kidsâ plates because you donât want food to go to waste.
Food is rarely just about food.
Itâs often a reflection of stress, habits, emotions, routines, lack of sleep, or simply doing what youâve always done.
Thatâs why awareness is so powerful.
Not because it changes anything overnightâŚ
But because you canât change a pattern you havenât noticed.
The women who make lasting progress arenât always the most disciplined.
Theyâre usually the ones who become curious before they become critical.
Instead of asking,
âWhy did I do that again?â
They start asking,
âWhat was happening just before I made that choice?â
That small shift changes everything.
Because awareness creates choice.
And choice is where lasting change begins.
đŹ Whatâs one eating habit youâve become more aware of over the last year?

A hard truth?
Most women donât have a fat loss problem.
They have a consistency problem.
Not because theyâre lazy or lack willpower.
But because theyâre trying to follow plans designed for people with unlimited time, energy and perfect lives.
Real life really looks more like,
School runs.
Work stress.
Hormones.
Poor sleep.
Looking after everyone else first.
Thatâs why I coach women to focus on what moves the needle most.
Strength training.
Protein.
Steps.
Recovery.
Master those and everything else gets easier.
Whatâs one thing from this carousel youâre committing to this week?

If you want to lose a bit of weight before summer, it doesnât need to be complicated.
It just needs to be consistent.
Most people donât fail because they donât know what to doâŚ
they fail because they try to do everything at once, for about 4 days and then life kicks in.
So start simple đ
The basics you can actually stick to â thatâs what matters.
No detox, extremes or âperfect weeksâ needed .
Just boring habits done often enough that they start to work.
If you read the carousel, pick 1â2 things and actually focus on them this week.
Not all of them at once.
Just a couple youâll actually do.
Thatâs where results actually come from.
If you want help putting it together properly, thatâs exactly what I do inside SculptHer with structure, support, and someone keeping you on track when motivation drops.

You know what breaks my heart?
The number of women waiting to live their life until theyâve lost weight.
âIâll wear that when Iâm slimmer.â
âIâll go on the beach when Iâm more confident.â
âIâll get in the photo when Iâve toned up.â
âIâll book the holiday when I feel better about myself.â
Months become years.
Years become decades.
And before they know it, theyâve spent half their life waiting.
Because they believed they had to earn it.
Hereâs what Iâve learned coaching women:
The women who become truly confident arenât the ones with perfect bodies.
Theyâre the ones who stop putting their life on hold.
They start strength training.
They start showing up for themselves.
And slowly, they stop abandoning themselves.
Confidence doesnât arrive when the body changes.
It grows when you start keeping promises to yourself.
If youâre waiting to live your life until you reach a certain weightâŚ
Donât.
Wear the bikini.
Get in the photo.
Book the holiday.
Go to the beach.
Confidence isnât something you wait for.
Itâs something you practice.

If youâve been feeling more anxious, irritable, emotional, exhausted, or struggling with brain fog lately, you might assume itâs just stress, hormones, or getting older.
And yes, those things matter.
But thereâs another piece of the puzzle thatâs often overlookedâŚ
Your gut.
Your gut and brain are constantly communicating.
So when your gut health suffers, it can affect far more than digestion.
You may notice:
â Lower mood
â Increased anxiety
â Poor sleep
â Low energy
â Brain fog
â Feeling flat or overwhelmed
Now, depression and anxiety are complex and are never caused by one thing alone.
But research is showing that gut health plays an important role in inflammation, nutrient absorption, hormone regulation, and overall mental wellbeing.
The good news?
Supporting your gut doesnât have to be complicated.
𼌠Eat more fibre
đ Include a variety of fruits and vegetables
𼣠Add fermented foods
đ Prioritise protein
đśââď¸ Move daily
đ´ Protect your sleep
đ§ââď¸ Manage stress where possible
Your body isnât working against you.
Sometimes itâs simply asking for support.
Small daily habits can have a bigger impact than you realise. đ
Have you ever noticed a connection between your gut health and your mood?

Most women donât need more intensity.
They just need something they can actually stick to đ¤
Incline walking works because itâs simple:
you set the speed, set the incline, and just get it done.
No overthinking , no burnout and no starting over every Monday again .
It works because it lets you build consistent calorie output without running yourself into the ground.
But most people either go too easy to see change or go too hard to stay consistent.
The sweet spot is that controlled effort you can repeat week after week.
Thatâs what actually changes your body over time.
If you want a simple weekly structure that pulls all this together properly, comment WALK đ
