CHIEFS REPRESENT IRELAND WITH PRIDE AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Last weekend 4 Chiefs recently represented Ireland at the Under-17 European Championships in Waterford. Making their international debuts, each player performed with immense pride for their families, club, and country.

Player Highlights
🟡Caleb: Formed a formidable goaltending tandem with Matthew, driving Ireland to a 4th-place ranking in tournament save percentage.

🔵Jake: Sparked the offense by scoring Ireland’s opening goal against the eventual champions, the Czech Republic.

🟡Otis: Anchored the defense with growing confidence, delivering the crucial assist for Jake’s goal.

🔵George: Demonstrated superb versatility by shifting between forward and defense while serving as a key shot-blocker on the penalty kill.

With no time off, all four athletes are already back on the court already, enthusiastically preparing for the season ahead. 👏

What a fantastic weekend for our young team in Dundee! A huge thank you to all the parents who made the trip and supported the kids throughout. ❤️

Playing some of the best teams in the UK, many with players a year or two older, was a fantastic challenge. The team showed great spirit, battled hard and came away with valuable experience and plenty to be proud of.

There were tears, smiles, great hockey and new friendships, with the kids mixing brilliantly both on and off the court.

A big thank you to our fantastic hosts in Dundee. The venue and rink were a pleasure to play and spectate in, and made for a brilliant tournament.

Lots learned, great memories made and plenty to look forward to! 🏒

💵 Entry fee - £300 per team
Minimum 5 games guaranteed
Minimum number of players: 6+1
Maximum number of players: 14+2

📝 Rules
- Games will be played according to World Skate rules, any specific adjustments will be detailed ahead of time.
-2 qualified officials per game

Game times:
All games 2 x 15 minute periods (running clock)
2 minute warm-up
2 minute half-time
No timeouts
Games that need a winner will use sudden death shootout

Rink: 40m x 20m with Stilmat floor and World Skate sized goals.

Selection of hotels, B&Bs and other accommodation within 20 minutes of the venue. We can provide assistance as necessary.

Teams will have to register via the link and spot is only confirmed on receipt of payment.
The organisation is not responsible for any accident, theft or illness that may occur during the tournament.

🇮🇪🏒 Our U19 Junior Women's Team is getting Ready for Italy! 🇮🇹

The excitement is building as our Ireland U19 Junior Women's Team prepares to travel to Italy to compete in the Reitia Cup. This weekend they are down in Cork with the U14s training.

This tournament is another important step in the development of our athletes, giving them the opportunity to test themselves against top international opposition while proudly wearing the green jersey.

Representing your country is a privilege earned through dedication, hard work and commitment, and we couldn't be prouder of this group of players.

We wish the team and coaching staff a successful tournament and look forward to following every moment of their journey.
