Last Wednesday evening, we were delighted to welcome Dame Allan’s School all the way from Newcastle to Bangor for a preseason fixture against our U18s! 🏉

It was a pleasure to host the squad, and we hope this is the start of something we can do again in the future. A huge thank you to everyone from Dame Allan’s for making the trip and for a great evening of rugby — we hope to see you all again soon! 🤝

And of course, no post-match gathering is complete without food… 🍕 Huge thanks to Fly Boy Bangor⁠ for keeping everyone well fed with some seriously delicious pizzas! 👏

We can’t wait to welcome the kids back to Uprichard Park on Sunday. We’ve received lots of enquiries about new starters across all seven year groups. All kids get two taster sessions, so come on down and give Rugby a go.

🏉🏟️ Good to meet with Matt from Ulster Rugby for a catch up on the positive impact of rugby across our local communities and the game at all levels.

We discussed the need for support for our excellent local rugby clubs in North Down, including Bangor Rugby Club, Donaghadee RFC & Holywood Rugby Football Club, all of whom have worked hard on developing their facilities in recent years.

These clubs play a very valuable role in bringing people together, creating opportunities for young people and so much more!

Our 1XV kick off the new season away to Ards RFC this Saturday in a local North Down derby! 💙💛

It’s the first test for the 26/27 squad in Championship 1, and we want to see as many Bangor supporters as possible making the short trip to Lansdowne Road to get behind the boys.

A huge congratulations to Theo Scott who played for the Ulster U19’s on Saturday vs Leinster

A special shout out as well to Jed Putney who was on the team for Ulster 18’s clubs/schools and Jack Thompson who played for the Ulster U18’s schools squad!

All of these men are ex Bangor Minis and we are thrilled for them all to be making such massive strides in their early rugby careers! Definitely more to come! 💙💛💪
