Pre-Season Skills Camps are back this August! 🏊

Join us in Dungannon, Ballymoney and Newry for Swim Ulster’s Pre-Season Skills Camps, designed to help swimmers return to the water with confidence and build strong foundations for the season ahead 📈

After a well-earned summer break, these camps provide the ideal opportunity to refresh technique, develop key skills and prepare for the months ahead!

📅 Junior Group (2015–2017) - Focused on developing core swimming skills through technical coaching.

📅 Intermediate Group (2011–2014) - Builds on the same technical skills while introducing light aerobic work.

Across both groups, sessions will focus on body position, alignment and efficiency in all four strokes, helping swimmers adapt after the summer break and get the new season off to a strong start.

Our clubs need YOU! With new Swim Ireland licensing requirements, every club needs qualified officials to help deliver safe, fair and high-quality competitions. Whether you’re a parent, volunteer, former swimmer or simply want to give back to the sport, becoming a licensed official is a fantastic way to support your club!

We’re running three Regional Judge Courses across Ulster, with virtual learning followed by an in-person practical session.

Bethany lowers her own WORLD RECORD in Eindhoven 🌍

Bethany Firth (Ards SC) has lowered her own WORLD RECORD in the S14 100m Backstroke, clocking an incredible 1:04.02 at the Dutch Open Championships. The new mark surpasses the record she set back in 2016 by 0.03 seconds, and comes just three weeks before she represents Team NI at this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
