Formed in 1969 as 2nd Bangor Old Boys the club competed in the Old Boys League up until 1977 before joining the Northern Amateur League. In 1979 the club changed it's name to Bangor Amateurs Football Club and in the 1985-86 season won the Junior Cup. After this successful season the club attained intermediate status football and have gone on to

🔴Dean arrives at Ballyvarnet having featured previously in the NAFL Premier League and 1A with Rosemount & Killyleagh respectively.
