These two are our JUNIOR LEAGUE GURUS! 🏐🔥
Got a question? Need some help? Confused about anything junior league related? These are your ladies! 🙌

As proud parents to two of our Storm players and one of our Jets girls, they’re not just invested in the club — they’re right at the heart of it. ❤️

You’ll find them at every training session, helping with payments, answering questions, supporting our coaches and players, and making sure everything keeps ticking along behind the scenes.

And when junior league day comes around? They’re there scoring games, supporting teams and keeping everything running smoothly. 🏐💪

They might not always be the loudest people in the room, but their contribution is HUGE. They give their time, their energy and their support week after week, and they are such an important part of what makes Thundercats what it is.

We are SO lucky to have Nia, Sara and their girls as part of our Thundercats family. 🖤❤️🩶

With the new season just around the corner, it’s time to meet the people behind the scenes who keep this club roaring! 🐾❤️

First up… our two chiefs! 👑
Our Co-Chairs, the ultimate Thundercats dream team — Anya Jones & Danni Power! 🖤

🐾 ANYA JONES

The heart and soul of Thundercats.

Anya founded the club way back in 2015 with one simple dream — to give anyone who wanted to play netball the opportunity to do exactly that. And over a decade later, that dream is still at the very heart of everything we do.

She has poured her heart, soul, time and energy into this club and every single player who has walked through its doors. So much so that she even got the Thundercats logo tattooed on her! 🐾🔥

Anya currently plays for Thunderlynx and Thunderbirds, competing in both local adult leagues, and umpires in both too.

She helps coach all of our adult league teams, while also looking after Thunderblaze, Thunderflames, Thundercelts and Thunderbolts in the junior league.

And if that wasn’t enough… Anya has more strings to her bow than we can count! 🎯

She is Chairperson of the North West Wales Netball League, Social Media Secretary for the North West Wales Junior Netball League and Gwynedd & Anglesey League, an umpire trainer, regularly delivering Intro to Umpiring courses for Wales Netball, and an Assistant Coach with the Wales Netball U13 Academy.

Basically… if there’s a job to be done, Anya is probably already doing it! 😂

And then there’s Danni…

Danni joined Thundercats in 2018 and, quite frankly, we’ve never let her leave! 😂❤️

Having played county netball in her teens, Danni brings a huge wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding to the club.

For the past three years she has helped run the club alongside Anya, and together they have become a seriously formidable team. 💪

Danni currently plays for Thundercats and Thunderbirds, helps coach all of our adult league teams and works with Thunderblaze, Thunderflames, Thundercelts and Thunderbolts in the junior league.

She’s also an umpire and takes on the hugely important role of Umpire Secretary for the North West Wales Netball League

Thundercats Netball Club has grown every single year since we began… and this season, we’ve reached a whole new level of EPIC! 🔥

With an incredible 17 teams competing across a junior league and two adult leagues, our club is bigger than ever — and that means we need the equipment to match!

This season, we’re looking to purchase up to 10 brand-new match balls for our teams to use throughout the league. At around £45 per ball, that’s a £450 investment for our club.

💥 That’s where YOU could come in!

We’re looking for a business or businesses who would love to support our growing club through sponsorship and help us cover the cost of these essential match balls.

And in return, we’ll make sure your business gets plenty of exposure! 👀

📣 Your business logo will feature on ALL of our Player of the Match posts throughout the league season, with your business tagged every single time.

It’s that time of year again where we host our annual Charity Halloween Themed Netball tournament!!

This year it’s on Sunday November 1st in Brailsford Dome and we’re raising money for Ty Gobaith!!
