The final game of the season at UP today see’s the Men’s 1XI take on Cregagh. All support welcome at UP for the Club Day happening today! 💙💛

Fantasy Friday 💙💛

Congrats to Emma and her Rayners Rockets team who finished in first place for GW18 as we approach the final gameweek for Fantasy and just two M1 matches to round out the season.

See as well the Prizes for this years Fantasy game, we are just waiting on the last few payee’s before we can start to pay out!

Beachy’s Battlers hold a handsome lead at the top of the Overall League, surely after 2024’s near miss and missing out on World Cup glory this year, it will be Beachy’s time to reach the mountain top. In hot pursuit though is Browny who will look to feed on those doubts and produce one of the great shocks in Fantasy history. The battle for 3rd will be keenly contested this week, last years champion Batesy leads the pack but just under 300pts separate him and 8th place!

There are though early congratulations in order for Beachy as he picks up the Manager of the Month Award for August but he’ll be all focus ahead on the next few days! Best of luck Managers!

The end of another season is here and it is a huge week ahead for the Men’s 1XI where with two wins, the side could be playing Premier League cricket in 2027! For now though, all attention on tomorrow’s game which will bring the on-field action at UP to a close. 🌅

And what a day it promises to be where UP will be rammed to the rafters with the rugby season kicking off with the 1XV & 2XV in action and much more! 🏉🔥

The redeveloped Clubhouse will be fully open for members to enjoy and take a look inside for the first time with the Club Lunch happening and upstairs bar operational. 🆕🍽️🍻

But wait, there’s more! The Club BBQ will be fired up from 3pm for members to enjoy and if that wasn’t enough then before the rugby begins at 12.30pm we encourage our Youth members with Parents to pop down to the Cricket Nets where we’ll hold a kit exchange session where any kit kids have grown out of can be exchanged for other exchanged kit for the new season next year! 🍖👕🏏

And one more thing, it has been a special season for our Youth Section and there will be a special U11 & U13 team photo to celebrate the league and cup triumphs from the season during the tea interval of the 1s game! 🏆📸

All this happening on Saturday at the ground, be great to see members enjoying the on field action for one final time in 2026 with plenty going on! 💙💛

Results from the Bank Holiday Weekend 💙💛

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to Club Day on Saturday 5th September. With Bangor 1st XI chasing promotion, both 1st XV and 2nd XV rugby teams in action, a BBQ from 3pm, and the newly refurbished clubhouse and bar open, it promises to be a fantastic afternoon for the whole family.

We're also trying something new with our Pre-Loved Cricket Kit Exchange from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on the grass area in front of the new nets. If your child has outgrown bats, pads, gloves, bags or other equipment, bring it along and see if another family can make use of it. It's a great chance for younger players to pick up used kit for next season.

Please note that all buying and selling is directly between parents, with Bangor CC simply providing the location. If you'd like advice on kit sizing or typical second-hand values, I'll be happy to help on the day.

🏏 Kwik Cricket equipment will be out for younger players throughout the afternoon, and our older boys and girls are welcome to use the net facilities.
