πŸ”₯ FULL BODY POWER WORKOUT πŸ”₯

Around 30–35 minutes from start to finish.

Complete 4 rounds for a workout that hits the legs, glutes and shoulders while getting the heart rate up too. πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

Workout:

1. Elevated Side Squat – 12 reps
2. Elevated Goblet Angled Squat – 12 reps
3. Pop Squat – 12 reps
4. Deadlift to Calf Raise – 12 reps
5. Cossack Squat – 12 reps
6. Plate Ground to Overhead – 12 reps
7. Plate Push Press – 12 reps
8. Plate Hops – 25 reps

Complete all 8 exercises, take a short recovery, then go again.

5 rounds in total.

A great combination of strength, power, mobility and cardio all rolled into one workout. πŸ”₯

Choose your weights carefully β€” you want them challenging enough to work you, but light enough that you can keep good form and maintain the pace throughout all four rounds.

πŸ’š Something I didn't actually realise about my Release Recovery Massage Balm…

When I created Release Recovery Massage Balm, my focus was on developing a professional-quality balm that I could use with my own massage clients β€” with great glide, lovely skin-conditioning ingredients and an essential oil blend that complemented massage and recovery.

But recently, I was chatting to an aromatherapist, and when she looked at the essential oils in my balm she said:

β€œDo you realise what a lovely menopause blend you've created?”

And when you look at the aromatherapy blend together, you can see why. πŸ’š

🌿 Clary Sage – traditionally used in aromatherapy for women's wellbeing and relaxation.

πŸ’œ Lavender – well known for its calming qualities and often used to support relaxation and sleep.

🌼 Chamomile – another beautifully calming and soothing oil.

🌱 Peppermint – fresh, cooling and refreshing.

🫚 Ginger – warming and invigorating and a lovely addition to a massage blend.

Together, they create a beautifully balanced combination that can be incorporated into a menopause self-care and wellbeing routine, particularly through massage, relaxation and simply taking a little time for yourself.

Of course, this isn't a treatment for menopause and I'm not claiming that aromatherapy can balance hormones or treat menopausal symptoms.

But as both a Sports Massage Therapist and Menopause Coach, I absolutely love that something I originally created for massage and recovery has another lovely way in which women can enjoy it. πŸ’šπŸ’œ
