After getting our first pre-season minutes in the legs at the weekend, we’re straight back at it as the First Team welcome SWIS to our first ever home preseason game at Kingsfield.

⚽️ FULL TIME | ADDERBURY PARK 1-1 BODICOTE SPORTS

Our first pre-season friendly was a valuable run-out as the lads got back into match action after the break.

As expected, we looked a little rusty in opening 20/30 minutes but there were plenty of positives to take from the performance. We created a number of good chances throughout the game and, on another day, could have found the net several times. Credit has to go to the Adderbury park goalkeeper, who produced a string of excellent saves to keep us at bay.

With valuable minutes in the legs and plenty to build on, it's a good starting point for the squad. Fitness will continue to improve, the sharpness will come, and we'll look to take another step forward in our next pre-season fixture.
