A tough morning for the Bodicote Sports Vets as they were beaten 3–0 by Deddington Town in their first pre-season outing.

This was the Vets’ only friendly before the start of the season, giving the lads a valuable opportunity to get some minutes in the legs and prepare for the competitive fixtures ahead.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take from the game.

Now the friendlies are done, it’s time to turn our attention to the 26/27 season! 💪⚽

Goals from Alessio, Luke Gibbs, Matt Corbett and a brace from Dave Maciver helped secure the result! 👏🔥

A great team effort from start to finish, with the boys showing plenty of fight, determination and quality when it mattered.

💛 FULL TIME | FIRST TEAM 💙

A hard-fought afternoon for the First Team ends in a 3–2 defeat to KSFC.

After falling behind early on, Jake Deegan got us back on level terms with a composed finish to make it 1–1.

The momentum continued as Jordan Silva put Bodicote ahead, making it 2–1 and completing a strong turnaround.

Unfortunately, KSFC responded with two further goals. There was a few positives to take from the performance but overall it was a pretty poor performance from the lads today.

The Bodicote Sports FC First Team are back in action this Tuesday as they make the trip to take on King Sutton FC in a pre-season friendly.

After another busy period of fixtures, the lads will be looking to put in another strong performance, build confidence and continue preparing for the season ahead. 💪⚽

A tough night for the First Team as we go down 4-0 to Shipston Excelsior.

The scoreline doesn’t tell the full story, though. The lads showed fight, determination and togetherness throughout the game, never giving up and continuing to battle right until the final whistle. 💪

Credit to Shipston, who are an OSL Premier Division side, and the difference in levels showed at times. But there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, particularly effort shown by the boys.

We dust ourselves down, learn from it and go again. 👊⚽
