We often think about countryside views, but sound changes the experience too.
The countryside has its own soundtrack, and once you stop to listen, you start noticing things that would disappear beneath the noise of everyday life.
At Crofts Barn, sometimes the quietest moments are the ones you remember.
Which countryside sound do you find most relaxing?

There’s something lovely about having space around you when you’re away.
At Crofts Barn, our pitches give you room to settle in without feeling crowded by the people around you.
It’s a simple part of camping, but it can make your whole stay feel slower, quieter, and more relaxing.
What makes a campsite feel relaxing to you?

There’s something about countryside life that makes you forget the clock.
The day seems to follow the light, the weather, the birds and whatever you happen to feel like doing.
A walk doesn’t have to be completed by a certain time. Breakfast doesn’t have to be rushed. And an evening outside can last as long as you want it to.
Perhaps we could all use a little more of that.
Would you enjoy a day without watching the clock?
