Ethan Miles is set to return to the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship at the 2WD Festival at Lydden Hill on Saturday 25 July.

The recently turned 14 year old made an impressive start to his first season in rallycross, securing second place in both of the opening championship rounds at Lydden Hill over the Easter weekend.

Miles was unfortunately unable to compete in the following Irish rounds at Mondello Park due to a family commitment. The Dover based driver is now looking forward to returning to the paddock and continuing the strong momentum he established at the start of the season.

With Lydden Hill being his home circuit, the event will carry extra significance for Miles as he aims to build on his early results in front of a local crowd.

Having already demonstrated impressive pace and consistency during his first two appearances, Miles heads into the 2WD Festival with increased confidence and another opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship.

The Swift Family is looking forward to welcoming Ethan and his family back into the Swift Family on 25 July.

Fans are encouraged to come along to the 2WD Festival at Lydden Hill and support Ethan alongside the future stars of British Rallycross.

He was SIX when he first came along to the Swift Rallycross Championships!

25th July, just after he turns 18, Danny Bean Racing #23 will finally make his own start on the Swift Sport grid.

We are excited to see his dream turn into a reality! ✨

Danny Bean joins the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship, continuing the Bean family connection with the Swifts.

His dad, Jonathan Bean, raced in the Swift in 2011 and narrowly missed the championship in 2012. His brother, Charlie Bean, won the Junior Swift Championship in 2014.

Danny arrives with a strong karting record: O Plate wins at Rowrah and Teesside, multiple championship titles, and podium finishes in British and Spanish 24-hour events. He currently leads the Teesside Sprint Pro class.

βš«πŸ”΄πŸŸ‘ SWIFT SPORT DRIVER πŸŸ‘πŸ”΄βš«
NAME: Danny Bean
AGE: 17, almost 18
RACE NO: 23
HOMETOWN: Bedale
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Karting, 2024 Rowrah Senior Pro Kart Champion, 2023 Rowrah and Teesside O Plate winner

We are pleased to welcome Danny Bean to the Swift Sport Rallycross Championship.

Danny returns to the Swift Family with rallycross in his blood. His dad, Jonathan Bean, raced in the Swift back in 2011 and narrowly missed out on the championship crown in 2012, when Danny was just six years old.

His brother, Charlie Bean, went on to claim the Junior Swift Championship title in 2014. Now Danny takes his own step onto the grid, continuing the Bean family connection with the Swifts.

Andreas Bakkerud was Danny’s motorsport hero growing up, and now he gets the chance to finally chase his own rallycross ambitions on the Swift grid.

Bean Jr joins us with a strong record across karting. His results include O Plate wins at Rowrah and Teesside, multiple championship titles, and podium finishes in both British and Spanish 24 hour events. He is also currently leading the Teesside Sprint Pro class.

We caught up with Danny and here’s what he had to say:
β€œKids have dreams and I have dreamt about this opportunity for a long time, seeing my dad and brother compete then later watching Constantine’s, Ben Sayer and Patrick O’Donovan and hoping one day it could be me. The field may not be as big at the minute but the ambition is.”

Notable results:
2023 Rowrah O Plate winner
2023 Teesside O Plate winner
2022 and 2023 Teesside Winter Series Junior Pro Kart Champion
2024 Rowrah Senior Pro Kart Champion
2025 Teesside Sprint Clubman Champion
3rd British 24 hour 2025
3rd Spanish 24 hour 2026
Currently leading Teesside Sprint Pro class.

We look forward to welcoming Danny back to the Swift Family and seeing him fulfil a long held dream as he makes his Rallycross debut.
