Well done to the four Banbury Harriers who represented Oxon and Bucks respectively at EnglishSchoolsAA Track & Field Championships this weekend.
⚪ A PB of 1.55 for Ruben in the senior boys 800m.
🔵 Emily threw consistently just below her PB in the inter girls discus.
⚪ Molly took on a new event in the inter girls 1500m steeplechase with a gutsy run.
🔵 Isla made the final of the senior girls 1500m but was unable to take to the start line.
⚪ Great to have a familiar face on the management team in Archie too!

Michael HUGHES 'Mike'

Mike passed away peacefully at The Horton General Hospital with his loving family by his side, on 27th April 2026, aged 81 years.

He was the beloved husband of Sylvia and much loved Dad to James, Lisa and Richard.

A loving father in law of Lorraine and Gordon.

An adored grandad to Euan and Scott and dear friend to many.

Mike's funeral service has been arranged to take place at Banbury Crematorium on Friday 29th May at 1.00pm.

The family have asked that bright colours be worn if attending the funeral service.
