Fin Jelfs would like to thank everyone who came along today to play and support the triples competition as part of his fundraising campaign for his American exchange school trip.

Despite the rather wet weather everyone had a great day which resulted in Fin raising just over £400 towards his trip, a fantastic amount which he is incredibly grateful for.

Congratulations to our president, Mick Jelfs, who won the Longford Cup at the county's domestic competition finals yesterday at South Oxford Bowls Club 🏆

Kevin Mytton has qualified for the 2 Wood National Finals in Leamington starting next week, playing on Wednesday 12th August. He will be bowling against Joe Sanford from Kent in his opening game on Green B, Rink 5 at 11:45.

Congratulations to Kevin Mytton who made it to the National Finals in Leamington after winning his 2 wood semi final yesterday against Andy Cross from Carterton.

Today saw Fin and Gethin from Carterton get through to the County final in the junior pairs after defeating a pairing from Chipping Norton taking them one step closer to Leamington.

Commiserations to Jamie Wilkinson who was unfortunately unable to get past Matt Osling from Carterton in the 4 wood semi final on what was a very tricky rink for both players.

One more game stands between England and the World Cup Final. We will be showing the England vs Argentina match at the club this Wednesday, doors open from 7pm 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇦🇷 ⚽

The club will open from 4:15pm today to show the England vs DR Congo game. So sneak out of work early and come and cheer on England. We won't tell the boss, promise!! 😉

Earlier this week we had the pleasure of hosting a team from Bowls England to celebrate our centenary year.

The sun shone down on us and we enjoyed a great afternoon of bowls followed by a fabulous tea in our clubhouse.
