Can you still have a social life on INVIGOR8?

Of course you can. 😂

It's 8 weeks of fat loss.

Not 8 weeks of house arrest.

And if you're anything like me and enjoy a pint or ten every other week, I'm hardly going to tell you that has to disappear either.

There'll be birthdays.

Meals out.

A few pints.

Weekends where you've already got plans.

That's normal life.

And I'm not going to tell you to put all of that on hold just because you want to lose some weight.

But...

There's a line.

If you're coming into INVIGOR8 wanting to get the best result you possibly can in 8 weeks...

Something has to change.

That doesn't mean missing the birthday party.

Skipping dinner with your family.

Or sitting with a Diet Coke while everyone else enjoys themselves.

I'll show you how to work those things into your week.

But if Friday becomes drinks...

Saturday becomes takeaway and more drinks...

Then Sunday becomes “f**k it, I'll start again Monday”...

Every single weekend?

We can't pretend that won't affect your result.

It's 8 weeks.

Get your head down.

Be sensible when you've got something on.

Enjoy it.

Then get straight back to what you were doing.

You don't need to give up your social life to get lean.

But you might need to decide what's more important for the next 8 weeks.

If you're ready to lose the weight without putting your entire life on hold...

Comment INVIGOR8 and I'll get you on the Priority List. 🤝

This is what training currently looks like for me.

6 days a week.

Some days even have a double session.

But that definitely doesn't mean I'm hammering myself for 6 days straight.

With HYROX coming up, the goals right now are pretty simple.

Strip some body fat.

Get faster.

Get fitter.

Then over the next few weeks we'll start getting a bit more specific with the HYROX work.

Training 6 days a week could very easily turn into absolutely killing yourself 6 days a week if you go in with the mindset that more is better.

But we already know more isn't better.

Better is better.

So I try not to put two hard days back-to-back.

Hard day. Easy day. Hard day. Easy day.

On those easy days I'm keeping the heart rate low and getting some aerobic work in without adding a load more fatigue.

I prefer the bike for that.

Less impact, easy to control the effort and I can sit at a steady Zone 2.

Then when it's time for a hard session…

I'm actually ready to go hard.

If you're hammering every run, every gym session, every bike and every HYROX session, eventually you're going to hit a wall.

I want the intensity there when it actually matters.

Not crawling out of the gym after every session just so I can say I worked hard.

People think getting fitter means doing more.

Making every session harder.

Finishing absolutely fu**ed.

It doesn't.

More isn't better.

Better is better.

Do me a favour and just join the Priority List? 😂

I know getting yourself in shape probably isn't top of the agenda right now.

The kids are back at school.

Homework has taken over the evenings.

You're scanning the whatsapp groups trying to remember who needs lifted from where...

And some mornings breakfast is basically forcing a slice of toast down your throat as you run out the door.

I get it.

Looking after yourself gets pushed down the list again.

BUT.

Fast forward 8 weeks.

It's the end of November.

Christmas parties are starting.

Nights out are in the diary.

And you're either thinking...

“F**k sake, I wish I'd started 8 weeks ago.”

Or you're a 6-8kg lighter.

Your clothes fit better.

You've got more energy.

And you're heading into December feeling fu***ng good about yourself.

INVIGOR8 starts 5th October.

15 early bird spaces go live to the Priority List on 25th September for £97.

Do future you a favour.

Thought id squat 180kg for every premier league win Spurs have this season.

Might up it to 280kg next matchday 🤪

Surely they couldnt go the whole season without a win.

That achievement would surpass the invincibles surely.

Will Spurs win a premier league game this season

And just like that… we have a teenager 🥹💗

Lola turned 13 🎂

Honestly don’t know where those years have gone.

It feels like no time ago she was this tiny wee baby giving me strange looks (looking back at the photo i fully understand) 😅, and now she’s officially a teenager 😭

We’re so proud of the young lady you’re becoming, Lola.

Funny, caring, kind and completely yourself.

Hope you had the best birthday and enjoyed every second of being spoiled.

Happy 13th birthday, Lola 💗

Love you loads ❤️

Another week ticked off the HYROX prep. 🤝
8 weeks to go and the goal right now is pretty simple.

Lose some body fat and get faster.

Training for the week ended up:
3 x strength sessions
2 x runs
1 x HYROX session

And considering how the second half of the week went...

I'll happily take it. 😂

Thursday night was spent in A&E with Lola.

Which meant Friday was pretty much a write-off and ended with a Chinese.

Saturday was Lolas Birthday and boys football matches.

Sunday was training, a championship match and then straight to Lola's birthday party.

So definitely not one of those weeks where everything lined up perfectly.

But that's normal life with 4 kids.

I could look at the week and focus on the missed session, the Chinese or everything that didn't go exactly to plan.

Or I can look at what still got done.

6 training sessions in a pretty chaotic week.

That's a win.

HYROX-wise, I'm still not massively concerned with doing loads of specific work yet.

Right now it's about dropping some body fat and building the aerobic base.

Running is already starting to feel smoother and fitness is moving in the right direction.

Then in two weeks, we'll start shifting towards more compromised running and HYROX-specific movement patterns.

For now tho the plan is too:
Get lighter.
Build the engine.
Then get specific.

And there's probably a lesson in there for anyone thinking about joining INVIGOR8 too.

Your next 8 weeks aren't going to be perfect either.

Kids will get sick.

Weekends will get mental.

Takeaways will happen.

You don't need 8 perfect weeks.

You need to learn how to keep moving forward when life looks a bit more like mine did this week.

If you want to lose the weight, get your fitness back and start feeling like yourself again...

Picture this.

8 weeks from now

It’s the end of November.

You throw on a pair of jeans you haven’t worn in over a year...

And they fit.

Not squeezed in.

Not holding your breath.

Just...

Comfortable.

You catch yourself in the mirror and actually like what you see.

You've lost weight.

Your clothes fit better.

You've got more energy.

And for the first time in a long time...

You feel like you're in control again.

You've actually been consistent.

For 8 weeks.

And now December is about to start.

Christmas parties.

Work nights out.

Family get-togethers.

Photos you'll actually want to be in.

That outfit you normally wouldn't have the confidence to wear.

And instead of heading into Christmas already telling yourself...

“I'll sort myself out in January.”

You're going into it feeling the best you've felt in years.

That's what 8 weeks could do.

Not make you perfect.

Just put you in a completely different place by the time Christmas rolls around.

If you want to lose the weight, get your fitness back and actually enjoy how you feel this Christmas...

Most parents trying to lose weight think they need to do more.

Eat less.

Train harder.

Get more steps.

Add another session.

But more isn't better.

Better is better.

Eat less? ❌
Stop eating like a teenager. Include more protein. Meals that actually fill you.

Train harder? ❌
Train better. Proper structure instead of just trying to wreck yourself.

More steps? ❌
Move consistently. Stop chasing some ridiculous number you can't maintain.

More sessions? ❌
Make the sessions you already have actually count.

Because you've still got work.

Kids.

School runs.

Training.

Matches.

And everything else family life throws at you.

You don't need to keep piling more on top.

You need to get more from what you're already doing.

More isn't better.

Better is better.

And that's exactly how we'll approach INVIGOR8.

If you want to lose the weight, get your fitness back and start feeling like yourself again...

Fast fat loss gets a bad rep.

But we fu***ng love it.

Because most of the numptys online talking about fast fat loss...

Don't actually do it properly.

Move faster with the right structure and coaching and a few things happen.

The weight comes down.

Your clothes fit better.

You start feeling like the dog's nuts again. 😂

And those changes are motivating.

Yes, there'll be a bit of hunger.

Maybe a little fatigue.

But when you're finally seeing your body change...

It's a lot easier to deal with.

And that's the bit people miss.

Fast doesn't mean forever.

Anyone telling you that fat loss itself is sustainable is a moron.

The habits should be.

Fat loss is a phase.

Not a lifestyle.

That's exactly what we'll teach you inside INVIGOR8.

Get yourself into incredible shape.

Feel fu***ng superb.

Then learn how to keep it.

8 weeks.

Potentially enough to change your physique for good.

Not because you'll diet forever.

Because you'll finally learn how to get lean and stay there.

15 spaces.

£97 early bird.
25th September.

We don't artificially limit spaces to create scarcity.

We keep the group small enough to actually coach properly.

If you want one, hit the link in my bio and get yourself on the Priority List.

We'll send you everything you need to know.

Make this the last diet you ever have to do. 🫡
