It came down to the last hole but wasn’t to be for our Fred Daly boys, with Co Sligo winning the All Ireland Final 3-2.

Massive congratulations to the whole panel on a fantastic achievement, for the second year in a row - third time’s a charm so roll on 2027!

Our Ulster North Fred Daly winners are in action at the All Ireland Finals, taking on Munster East winners Fermoy GC in the Quarter Final.

⛳️ JUNIOR CAPTAINS’ DAY ⛳️

Our Junior Section enjoyed a fantastic Junior Captains’ Day on Saturday, with an impressive 48 juniors taking part. It was fantastic to see so many young golfers enjoying a day of competitive golf, fun and friendship on the course.

There was some excellent golf on display throughout the 9-Hole Competition, with Emma Thompson taking the overall title after a fantastic round.

In Section 1, Tom Smith took the top prize, with Caleb Scullion finishing runner-up.

Section 2 was won by Bethany McKenna, with Harry Finlay taking the runner-up spot.

In Section 3, Matthew Calderwood claimed the win, while Noah McCullough finished runner-up.

Matthew Calderwood won the Longest Drive and Rory Connaughty won Nearest the Pin.

The day was a tremendous success and highlighted the enthusiasm and talent among the club’s thriving Junior section.

A huge well done to all Juniors who took part in making it such a memorable day.

The Club would like to thank everyone who helped make the event possible, along with the competition sponsors, Starling Entertainments and Ballymena Investment Centre Ltd, for their valued support of Junior golf.

⛳️ GOLF IRELAND SIXES NATIONAL FINALS ⛳️

A huge well done to our Golf Ireland Sixes team on qualifying for the National Finals on 20th September 👏🏻

The team began their journey by finishing runners-up in the Area Finals at Massereene Golf Club and secured their place in the Regional Finals at Killymoon Golf Club.

Throughout the competition, different members of the squad represented Galgorm Castle at the various stages, all playing their part in this fantastic achievement.
