Whether you just want to nip in for a quick look and taster game, or stay for 3 match tournament throughout the day, we would love to have you join us in celebrating the growth of this great sport within the area.

£15 for a days worth of tournament squash or £5 for a taster. We have all the equipment, all you need is a pair of shorts and a pair of trainers (non marking soals please).

Hoping to host a celebration of squash on Saturday 5 September to thank the Seven Towers Leisure Centre:) management, the council and everyone involved in the refreshment of our 3 courts. Inviting all our Squash Ulster League friends from NW and SE leagues as well as anyone interested in getting involved.

We'll firm up the format when we know the numbers. We'll probably have at least one 'die hard' draw with 3 matches throughout the day and maybe a court for ad-hoc matches for anyone that doesn't have time for a whole day, but would like to call in to see the facilities, have a game or two and then get on with the rest of their day or beginners that want to give it a go.

If we've 24 die hards, we'll have 3 draws of 8 and enjoy a full day tournament. Our social team will conjure up some ideas for the after party.

If you get the chance you should get yourselves down to Cookstown Leisure Centre and watch the finals (even if you can't make the tournament).

It was a family affair Open last weekend.

Caroline Hutchinson won the Women's Novice while husband, James, competed in the C grade (both well supported by junior Hutchinsons!).

Meanwhile, Rachel McNeice made her tournament debut and husband, Peter, finished runner up in the A grade.

Wow - just looks at the difference between the courts now and a couple of snaps taken of the floor and ceiling in court 1 in December 2023 (for some reason 🤷‍♂️).

Court 3 is now open🥳🙌🏻!! Peter and Ric Gamble might be the first to Christen the court with a game on Monday evening. I then got thoroughly slapped by Cliff in a couple of 'Long Games' on court 3, whilst other folk were using courts 1 and 2. Great buzz about the place.

Thanks to Seven Towers Leisure Centre:) for all the work completed in the Squash annex. Now - let's make sure we use those courts!! We'll work with Squash Ireland to organise a wee tournament to celebrate before the new league season starts.

Oh yeah 👍🎉

Some people have brunch plans.

I had a great night at the Mid Ulster Squash Club tonight. Thanks to Smitty and Emma for a great night of drills and 3 person games. As you know your welcome at Seven Towers Leisure Centre:) anytime 💪
