MOUNT KILIMANJARO 🏔 🇹🇿

The hugest of shout outs and well done to some of our epic members who have spent the last week summiting Mount Kilimanjaro.

The highest free standing mountain in the world, it’s almost 6000m here. The guys have been working so hard to get their legs and lungs ready for the long days of climbing and the altitude. 🫁

A seriously impressive feat and a great application of fitness being a lot more about the 4 walls of a gym.

Well done 👏🏼

Everyone that’s part of Limitless is a legend in our eyes, but we really really mean it for Dawn! 🤩

We asked her a few questions to find out more about her training experience with us.

🗣 “My biggest concern was would I be fit enough for the training…”

Coming from Spin and Pump classes, it’s a totally understandable fear when trying something new that you aren’t used to.

With over 250(!) sessions completed since she joined, it’s safe to say she’s more than fit enough! 💪🏼

We don’t really have the words to do Dawn justice - there’s not a single person she trains with that doesn’t leave the gym in hysterics by the end of the session!

All we can say is we are super grateful to have you be part of our community and we appreciate you massively 💛🖤

Belfast City Marathon Relay Complete! 👏🏼✅

Incredible day from start to finish.

Great to have so many involved and proud of how many pushed themselves outside their comfort zones to not only challenge themselves but to help a great cause too.

Excited to get to work on the Reel tomorrow to look back on an amazing day and night with our community. 🖤💛

Now time to think of what’s next…

So good to see the sun again and be able to take some of our training outdoors. 🤩

Mourne Wall Challenge 😱

One of our commitments at Limitless this year is to push ourselves outside our comfort zone — with some challenges and events both in and out of the gym in the aim of raising money for some good causes who need help and support.

Gareth’s taking this to a whole other level though — this weekend he’s braving the terrain and unpredictable conditions of the Mourne mountains and hiking over 22 miles along the Mourne Wall 🤯

Anyone who’s trained with him knows he a loves a good Sweat session, but this is a whole different ball game as he has to take on 10 Peaks, with an estimated time of TWELVE hours, in what is forecast to be pretty horrendous conditions! ⛈

It’s all for a very good cause though — all proceeds are going to the with the aim to raise enough to provide a full days palliative care for a child in need.

It’s a horrific challenge but for a terrific cause — he’s currently over 90% of the way there so please head to the link in his bio to read more about the cause, why it’s so important and if possible give him any little you can to get him to the target amount. 🙌🏼

Meet Jackie 👋🏼

🗣“I was quite anxious because I hadn’t really been to any gym before”

That might come as a shock to anyone who’s trained with her now - since she’s now the queen of Pull Ups, can do over 20 Push Ups in a row and lift over 100 kilo 🤯

But it wasn’t always that way…

Click the video to her Jackie describe her time here so far. 🖤💛

Trying to get the thought of Chocolate out of your head on Day 1 of the New Year Diet like… 😬

For most of you today will be the start of a new diet or an attempt at “eating better”.

So how do we succeed at that?

Personally speaking, our preferred approach is to outline some simple but specific targets you want to hit each day.

We find the idea of exact meal plan where you’re told exactly what eat at what exact time just isn’t realistic or sustainable for 90% of people.

Instead, the targets idea gives you a good framework to base your day around, while giving you the flexibility you need around work, kids, socialising, commuting etc.

Here are 3 boxes we think you should be aiming for, regardless of your goal, that will make you feel better by the end of this week.

✅ Drink 1 litre of water a day. More is great if you can, but let’s not start off in too big a hurry.

✅ Eat 2 portions of vegetables a day. This means all you have to do is eat one portion at lunch, one at dinner.

✅ Exercise 20 minutes per day. Again, more is definitely better, but what we’re looking for here is just you to make exercise a habit each day. This can be as simple as a walk or some stretching, it doesn’t have to involve weights or anything intense.

If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with where to start, and want some guidance on how to make things a little more simple - our DMs are always open for questions. 🙂
