It was a nice day for our August Members Day last Saturday..
22 Lines shot at the DTL, with 8 Shooters recording Straights,(see photos)..
5 stayed for the Shoot Off,,Mark,Brian,Liam,Paddy and Richard..
Liam and Paddy shot it straight again,and decided to share 1st,,and Brian and Mark were still tied,so they decided to share 3rd place..
Well done boys..
There was also ABT practice in the afternoon..

The weather conditions were nice for our August Club Shoot, on Saturday 1st..
20 lines shot,with 8 shooters recording Straights, see photos..
5 stayed for the Single Barrel Final, and when it was over,Paddy McNulty and Mark Gordon were still tied for High Gun, and Billy Wright and Nigel Lynn were tied for 3rd,.So a second run of Shoot Off was required..
At the end, Paddy took the Win,with Mark 2nd,,Billy and Nigel were still tied, so Sudden Death required, with Billy taking 3rd..
The OT/ABT practice was running in the afternoon..
Again, Thank You All for another good day..

Good turn out for our shoot today, ABT and OT, Nick McCarthy topped the OT with 47 x 50 while Alastair Wylie won the bottle sponsored for the ABT by Richard L***y with 29 x 30. Thanks and well shot all, good luck to all those shooting in next weekend Home International.

There was a small turn out for our 100 ABT today, great weather and some good scores. Mark McKeown shot his last 50 straight for a 94 and high gun. Ian Cooke 87 won "A" Mervyn Morrison 92 won B , David Grey 90 won C and Norman Gilmore with a fab 91 took D. We are on again on 8th August with 25 re-entry OT warm up for Home International.

It was a beautiful evening last Friday for our annual Shoot and BBQ..
26 Lines shot with 11 Straights recorded,see photos..
8 stayed for the Single Barrel Final,with 3 of them,Jordan McLaughlin,Sam Reid and Liam Longmore shooting 14x15,and with the light fading,they decided to share the win..Well done boys..
There was also a Sporting Pool Stand running, James Kirkpatrick and Darren Evans were joint winners here.
A Big Thank You to all for making this a very enjoyable event,..

We couldn't complain about the weather today, nice conditions for our OT and OSK registered shoots and a good turnout of 22 guns in the OT saw three 93's from Derek Burnett, Nick McCarthy and Scott Magill. As they took the honors in A &B classes it was Martin Colton winning "C" on 88. "D" class was good to see junior Ben Colton take the win with a fantastic 89.
We also had the Ulster Open Olympic S***t today with 6 entries. It was won with a fantastic score of 118 by Gareth McAuley. Stephen McAuley took runner up with 115. Raymond Kennedy and Paul Mills were the other class winners with Paul also veteran and novice winner.
Thanks to everyone for your support and our next shoot is a ABT on Friday 24th, then on Saturday August 8th we will hold a 25 OT re-entry, week before the HI.

The conditions weren't too bad, just the odd wee shower,but the wind was a bit blustery,making the targets tricky..
28 Lines shot,with 6 Shooters getting Straights, 2 off them with 2 Straights, see photos..
Only 3,Eamonn McCallan,Paul Adams and Mark McCusker,stayed for the Shoot Off, with Paul taking the Win, Eamonn 2nd and Mark 3rd..
I would just like to highlight, that one of the Shooters who shot 2 Straights,was one of our Juniors Reuben McKay,,Well Done..
There was also quite a few at the OT/ABT practice..

Last Saturday was our June Club Shoot and the weather was damp and breezy.
The incoming wind meant tricky targets.

5, Patrick, Jim, Mark, Gavin and Raymond stayed for the Shoot Off,,.
Patrick and Raymond shot another 15x15, so Sudden Death required to sort out the winner,.Patrick took the Win,,Raymond 2nd and Gavin 3rd..
