Ballyclare hold a 4-1 lead going in to Sunday’s big match.

The Captains’ Charity Day at Ballyclare Golf Club brought everyone together for a memorable day of golf, friendship and fundraising in support of Alzheimer's Society.

Professionals Day Competition Prizes for Sat 5th Sept ⛳️

Visitors, Daryl Van Der Vyver and Gary de Bruin from St Francis Links, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 🇿🇦 visited Ballyclare today with their personal local guide Rab McCormick. The guys were well impressed (with the course 😂).

Club Captain Colin Millar was on hand to give them a very special welcome.

A strong result from yesterday’s East Antrim League home leg.

“The family & friends of John and Carol Foster wish to thank the members and Council for allowing the holding of a memorial Open Team competition at the club.

This would not have been possible without the help and support from a large number of people:

From Colin Lyttle, who did a lot of management of the day, made a significant contribution to the prizes and spread the word to many of their friends;

From William and all the bar staff, who were fortunately run off their feet the whole evening;

From Kevin and all his staff at Collinview Restaurant, Ballyclare, who served up his usual delicious food.

It was a pleasure to play the course in such wonderful condition. Jordan and all of his greens staff have done a wonderful job.

This fantastic fun day raised £𝟐,𝟓𝟐𝟓 towards providing the much needed clubhouse lift.

The Away leg will be on 12th September.
