Last week these brave fundraisers swapped daylight for darkness and ventured underground to take on our cave abseil for 🔦🐾

Nervous faces at the top. Huge grins at the bottom. And every penny raised helps train life-changing assistance dogs for people who need them. 💛

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. Stepping off that edge takes real courage, and they absolutely smashed it. 👏

3 people started the Yorkshire Three Peaks together. All 13 finished together. In under 11 hours. 🏔️
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is brutal. 24 miles, three summits, a clock ticking. The team from Hart Shaw took it on to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital, and they didn't just finish, they stuck together as a team from start to finish and smashed it in under 11 hours. That's a serious pace for a challenge that beats plenty of people who try it. Save this for the next time your team needs a challenge that actually brings people together 📌

60ft off the roof of a hospital for £203,000 and counting 🧡

This weekend our team ran a charity abseil off the roof of St Thomas' Hospital, London. A 160ft drop straight down towards the Thames, with Big Ben and the London Eye right there in view. Everyone who stepped off that edge was raising money for , and , and between them they've smashed their target. Fundraising is now at an incredible £203,000 and still climbing.

Would you do it? 👀 Drop a 🧡 if you'd take on a rooftop abseil for charity, or tag someone who definitely would.

Down the rope, into the dark, following the water. That's how you do a day off.

Out in the Dales with Steve doing Diccan Pot, and it's right up there as one of my favourite vertical trips. Pitch after pitch, it just kept getting better. A real adventure from start to finish.

Did you know? Diccan Pot is part of the Alum Pot system on the slopes of Ingleborough. Its series of pitches follows the water down and brings you out into the depths of Alum Pot, which was first descended way back in 1847.

Days like this are exactly why we love what we do.

Two climbers, one crag, zero regrets

This is what a day out with us looks like: real Peak District gritstone, all the kit provided, and an instructor cheering loudest from the bottom 😄

Why climb with Dolomite Training?
Our instructors hold the Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) qualification, which is specifically about coaching and safeguarding beginners on real rock
We're local and know these crags inside out, so we pick the right routes for your group and the conditions on the day
Our sessions go at your pace, whether it's your first time on rock or you're ready to push a grade
We don't just do climbing. We also run caving, stream scrambling, paddleboarding and more, so there's always another adventure to try next

No experience needed. Just bring some comfy clothes and a willingness to give it a go.

👉 Fancy trying it? DM us "CLIMB" or hit the link in bio to book your session.

The 30-second habit that protects every river we paddle 🌊

Check. Clean. Dry. Before every session and after every session, it takes 30 seconds and it's one of the most important habits in outdoor water sports. Invasive species and diseases can hitch a ride on wet kit between waterways, so we give every board a proper clean down with BioMate before it goes anywhere near the next river. Small habit, big impact for the rivers we all love paddling. 💙

★★★★★ 'The most exhilarating but also the safest time'

Half-day vertical caving with instructor Steve, and this review from Idris made our week 👇

"Amazing half day vertical caving experience with Steve, my brother and I had the most exhilarating but also safest time. Everything was explained fully, we were reassured and kept safe throughout, and Steve was easy to talk to and humorous which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Wendy was brilliant with the booking process, keeping us all up to date and organising everything despite the last minute request. Would highly recommend and will probably be back soon for more!"

This is exactly why we do what we do 🖤
