Our U12 girls host Carrick tomorrow at Dampark in their 1st game of the challenge series. The game kicks off at 1:30pm, so come on down to cheer these amazing girls on as they take to the park in Pink and Black

Our U16 girls, along with our partners from Irvine host Greenock tomorrow at Dampark in their 1st league game of the season.
The game kicks off at 11am and is sure to be a thrilling encounter, so head on down to Dampark to cheer our amazing girls on.

SUNDAY FUNDAY

It’s a busy weekend for our girls section with our U12s and U14s hosting Carrick at Dampark for an Evolution tournament.
Prior to that our U16s, along with our partners from Irvine play Greenock in their opening League game of the season with an 11am kick-off.
Our U18s, as part of the Ayrshire U18s team are playing Moffat in their first game of the league this Sunday at Annan with an 11am kick-off

DREAM TEAM

Congratulations to Ella, Ruby, Anna and Olivia on being picked for this week’s dream team.

Ella was out for all of last season following an injury at the end of the 24/25 season. It was a long journey back for her but watching her performance on Sunday, you wouldn’t know she had been away.
Her ball carying was direct and powerful and really helped the team get up the pitch. Her tackling was equally fearless and she took some big hits and bounced straight back up. Ella also competed well at the ruck and put pressure on a strong Cambuslang team.
An excellent all round performance from a player who has been sorely missed.

Ruby had a fantastic game at the weekend, making a huge number of tackles throughout the game, with some massive hits against a powerful Cambuslang Team. Ruby was direct with ball in hand and her powerful runs really helped the team get up the pitch.
An excellent performance, utilising her power and pace to great effect for the team. We expect a huge season from this ever improving player.

Anna took the move to a full size pitch in her stride and led from the front all game. She was very strong with ball in hand, helping the team get up the field. She also popped up all over the park in defence, making some huge hits in a powerful defensive display. Anna also stepped up to take the conversions and mastered her goal kicking by the end of the match. A great start to the season from an ever improving player. Well done Anna

This was Olivia’s first ever game, though you wouldnt have know this to watch her. Olivia carried the ball forward at every opportunity with some powerful runs. She was confident when tackling and competed well in the ruck. She also worked hard in the scrum for her team. An excellent debut in the Pink and Black. Well done Olivia 💪

On Sunday our girls section hosted Cambuslang at Dampark for a series of pre-season games. There were over 150 girls playing rugby from Ayr, Cambuslang, Carrick, Cumnock, Irvine and Kilmarnock with matches at U12, U14, U16 and U18 in what was a fantastic advert for girls rugby.
There was some great rugby on display, with all the girls getting stuck in, as they continued their preparations for the new season.
A massive thank you to Cambuslang for attending and to all the spectators who cheered the girls on and celebrated every try scored and every tackle made.
