Fortunately for the seniors pride they narrowly managed to overcome their junior compatriots by a 4 - 2 score, taking an early lead, but the juniors took the match to the last game.

A great night was had by all and the future of the club looks in good hands going by the impressive play and good playing spirit portayed by the juniors.

2026 Seniors v's Juniors Match
Senior / Junior Match – Seafield Golf Course (white tees)
This highly competitive annual match will take place on Friday 21st August 2026. 1st tee off time will be 15:40 and catering will be provided in the cafeteria.

The format is 4 ball better ball. Stroke allowance will be 90% with the lowest handicapper in the 4 ball going to scratch (0) and all other players receiving 90% of the difference between the low handicappers course handicap and their own.

This is a match that no-one wants to lose as the bragging rights are substantial.

AUTUMN OUTING TO GIRVAN - FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER

There are only 17 names on the sheet in our Clubroom at Belleisle Park for the Autumn Outing to Girvan on Friday 18th September with Hot Rolls and Hot Drinks at Souters in Kirkoswald from 09.30 and the first tee time at Girvan is 11.00.

It would be good to get at least 24 or 28 playing at Girvan as we have tee times to accommodate up to 40 Members.

If you cannot manage into the Clubroom at Belleisle Park please let me or any of the Committee know and we will add your name to the sheet.

AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES -

With the 2026 Ayrshire Scratch League competition entering the final two weeks the destination of three of the four league titles have been confirmed, along with some other promotion and relegation places.

In DIVISION 1 Ayr Belleisle were confirmed as champions after Irvine were unable to provide a team for the agreed fixture date, with the subsequent 4-2 win awarded to Ayr Belleisle securing them their first Division 1 title.

A fabulous performance from all involved with the Scratch team over the year..... Congratulations to all involved.

Congrats to all our winners at yesterday’s Belleisle Open. Some seriously impressive scoring esp by our winner William Murray.
A big shout out to our greenkeeping team for the excellent presentation of the course, and to the Clubhouse staff for supporting the event - it is very much appreciated. Finally, big thanks to all those who played in the event and see you again next year.
