OK guys so was watching a video on how to program a repeater into the Anytone AT 778 .
In the video under channel menu the guy scrolled down to option 9 where it said Name .
On my radio when I do this as following the video it's not there under option 9 it says Talk ? I have already set the Name setting under the Display menu . Any ideas ? Cheers

OK guys just spent the last 2 hours recharging and uploading some local repeaters using chirp to the Boefeng Radios . Getting ready for the hills . I had bought some stubby 144/ 430/1200MHz Diamond Antenna. What's your views ?
I found using Chirp that the Boefeng UV5R worked well but had some problems with connecting the GT3TP and GT5TP Radios . The GT3PT did connect though with the other GT options on Chirp and worked well .
These little Boefengs get some stick but I do find them really good at my level sticking to the Max 10w output. What's your views guys or girls?
I like to keep this to honest opinions thanks

Mobile Powerpack made up from a Dewalt Toolbox . It contains my little amatuer radio with an extention for different Aerial types . It has a power on switch , a voltmeter , a 12v car adapter, a twin USB connection and a twin pole connector either for an output or a input ie Solar Panel , 12v Charger . All connections are fused . The battery is a 75 amp hr Deep Cycle leasure battery with the option to upgrade . Bit of cable management to do and add some 12v LED lights . The Aerial connection can be used in conjunction with a SOTA pole .

The Diamond X-50 is now functional . I put this 2M 70cm Antenna up today . The brackets I ordered were ok but not sure how long it will last . I had to put a piece of box section in place to take up some room for the U clamps to bite . I replaced the U clamp holding the bar in place with two stainless bolts as the original clamp would not bite on the bar . I think over time the bar may stress and fracture. Still to check the VSWR . I know it is weather resistant but covered the whole unit after connection with Grease this does help the lifetime of all parts .
