If you have a child aged 7 to 11, then join our Nurture Programme where you can learn practical ways to:

✅ Understand your child's behaviour
✅ Build positive relationships
✅ Improve communication
✅ Manage challenging situations more confidently
✅ Meet and connect with other parents

This is welcoming and supportive course is running for 5 weeks at Elmhurst Family Hub.

Balanceability

🚲 Do you want to help build your child’s confidence on a bike? Then book on to one of our free Balanceability programmes!

Aimed at children aged 2½ to 5 years old, Balanceability teaches the skills needed to ride a bike without stabilisers, improves spatial awareness and dynamic balance!

These sessions use balance bikes, games, and fun challenges to make learning to ride a bike safe, enjoyable and effective, whilst providing opportunities for some quality time with your little one.

📢We are excited to announce that next term, we will be running weekly Hangouts for young people at Elmhurst Family Hub!📢

The Hangout is a dedicated space for young people to relax, have fun and find support.

🟩Junior Hangout (8-11 years) - join us to play games, try something new and build confidence!

🟦Senior Hangout (12+ years) - join us to make new friends, try fun activities and learn new skills!

There will be no need to book, just drop in!

Come and meet the Family Hub team at the Bucks County Show on Thursday. You will find us in the Buckinghamshire Council tent. Find out about what we offer from our Hubs and through the wider Family Hub Network of partners. Members of the Buckinghamshire Family Information Service will also be available to talk about information available for families with children 0-19 years (25 with SEND through the Bucks SEND Local Offer)

Support your child’s first school steps into Reception

Help prepare your little one for their big school adventure by turning everyday skills into fun little wins!

Let them practise feeding themselves - spoons, forks, chopsticks, let them open their lunchboxes and unwrap or unpeel their healthy snacks (tricky but important!).
