🔧 Keeping the AlterG PRO performing at its best

We recently visited the University of Wolverhampton to carry out a service on their AlterG Anti-Gravity Systems PRO Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Regular servicing is key to keeping equipment performing reliably and something we at SportsMed feel is incredibly important! AlterG can support teaching, research, rehabilitation and sports performance.

With over 15 years’ experience supporting AlterG systems, our engineering team provides servicing, maintenance and technical support across the UK.

Great to see another AlterG PRO continuing to support the next generation of rehabilitation and sports science professionals. 🎓🏃

A bit of hands-on training for World Physiotherapy Day today!!

Great to spend some time with the ProCare team over the last couple of days, getting stuck into some knowledge sharing on the Biodex System 4 PRO by Sport Medical Technology Inc and AlterG Anti-Gravity Systems — and of course, we had to have a try!

There’s no better way to understand the equipment than actually getting on it and experiencing it first-hand. Always good to keep learning and brushing up on the tech behind the products we work with every day!

Special thanks to the PRO CARE team for a great couple of days!

Why pneumatic resistance? 💪

Unlike traditional weight stacks, .lifelongstrength pneumatic resistance technology uses air pressure to create a smooth, controlled training experience that works with the body’s natural movement.

✅ Consistent variable resistance curve at any speed of movement
✅ Mimics the natural function of the muscles
✅ Resistance starts at almost zero
✅ Adjustments as small as 100g

No heavy plates or clunking noise. No sudden jumps in load. Just precise, smooth resistance tailored to the individual.

Watch the video to see how HUR pneumatic resistance works!
