Help please! We’re trying to source backpacks around 40 litres in size, to equip our volunteer bike bus leaders. Do you have an old bag sitting unused in the cupboard? Donated items are key to helping us keep doing what we do, and any bags that fit the bill would be very gratefully received 😁

Next week’s Joy Rides!

Monday is Boat of Garten, and on Tuesday we’ll be meeting in Kingussie 😁

Joy Rides are relaxed, social rides of between 1 and 2 hours, with plenty of time to chat and enjoy the view. All are welcome, and if you’re struggling to source a suitable bike we will help out wherever possible. They’re free to join, just come along and say hi! Or get in touch with questions 🙂

Joy Rides are delivered in partnership with Cairngorms National Park Authorities as part of Cairngorms 2030.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 4th, Aviemore!

Pedal Picnic 0930 - 1130 & Joy Ride 1230 - 1430.

Pedal picnic is a free, relaxed, parent-child social ride, aimed at P1 - P5 with trailers and shotgun seats welcome.

We dodged the rain (and the trees with the trailer!) in Grantown today, but leaders will pack a tarp for snack-time shelter for tomorrow just incase.

Today we rode a little, ate a lot of blaeberries, put up a hammock, and played with sticks.

Free sign up available under the 'Events' section of the SPIN website.

Joy Rides 🚴‍♀️

Also tomorrow, if you're 16+ and want to get out on your bike more, then Joy Rides are for you. Build confidence, meet other cyclists, and explore our local area.

No need to sign up, meet at 1230 at Aviemore Community and Leisure Centre with a bike, helmet and suitable clothing. If you need to borrow a bike or helmet, just get in touch.

These rides are delivered in partnership with Cairngorms National Park Authority, as part of Cairngorms 2030.

Pedal Picnic days are our favourite! This morning’s ride from Kingussie went out to the RSPB hide at Insh marshes, via small frogs, raspberries and plenty of wildflowers.

Next week, we’re riding in Grantown on Monday and Aviemore on Tuesday. We would love to have you along, and you can sign up for free on the Spin website 😁

We’re providing these free events in partnership with CNPA, as part of Cairngorms 2030.
