The lads are really looking forward to the start of league games next Saturday - they are getting into the swing of giving over their Saturday afternoon to egg chasing with a training session followed by post training 'snap' and a few beers! With the light fading, Coach Tome Aherne is returning to ASC working around the continuing building work. We do have changing facilities however there are no showers and we are now using temporary toilets - short term pain for long term gain!

Counting down to the first league game of the season!!! You will note we are away for the first half of the season - this is due to the refurbishment of the changing facility and the work on the AGP at Royal Meadow Drive. The lads cannot wait for our first home game on 19th December! Whilst we know this is a bit of a pain for our players and supporters - just think of all the home games we will have in the second half of the season!

Coach Tom Aherne takes his team the short trip to Tamworth Rugby Club to play a friendly, giving the lads the opportunity to put their hard work into practice. Mindful of the RFU's requirements given the unprecedented hot weather creating issues with pitches, we are thankful that our hosts have competed a risk assessment to ensure the ground is okay for contact - thank you. Hope to see you all over there to cheer the lads on!

Just to give you a heads up - as we are away for all of our matches up to 19th December, we have booked a coach for one of our furthest journeys. Shipston on Stour RFC have a VIP day planned for that day with both their first and second teams at home - it should be a great day! More details nearer the date when we will start taking names. It will be £5 per person (except for players, coach and physio - we thought we needed them so should let them travel free!)
