U11’s Golds strike AGAIN 🔥⚡️⭐️

Another great performance from the lads today from back to front with everyone playing an important role in today's result.

Golds started the game fast with two goals within the first 3 minutes and never let up for the full game.

The passing and movement throughout the team is getting more impressive every week and the speed at which the lads move the ball around causes all sorts of problems for the opposition.

Well done to all the lads again this week and let's keep these team performance going 💪🏼🔥

WE DID IT AGAIN! 🔴⚽ What an absolute rollercoaster of a match and another fantastic WIN for our LSA Juniors boys! So, SO proud! 🙌🔥

Westhoughton Rangers had us pinned to the ropes in the first 15 minutes, bagging themselves two quick goals. But did our boys let their heads drop? NOT A CHANCE! 💪

The response was incredible to watch. The team woke up, took charge, and completely controlled the rest of the match! Shot after shot, an unstoppable defence, a midfield pulling the strings with razor-sharp attacking passes, and a frontline that couldn't stop finding the back of the net! 🎯⚡

Fantastic win today. The lads were class from start to finish and dealt with a difficult team really easily. Everyone put in 100% effort.

U9s LSA Lightning Vs PCFC Green (MYSL)

The lads played really well today, with no subs available, and gave absolutely everything from start to finish.

It was unlucky to come away with a one-goal difference. We looked the better team for large parts of the game and were unfortunate not to come away with the win.

We created plenty of good chances and, on another day, could have won comfortably. The boys never gave up and worked incredibly hard right until the final whistle.

Parents’ Player: Well done to Ezekiel, who deservedly won the award for his excellent defending and all-round performance.

Managers’ Player: Dan Dan — a brilliant all-round performance and thoroughly deserved!

U9s LSA Thunder vs Salford Storm (SDFL)

A frustrating match today, made even more difficult by a few decisions that didn’t go our way.

We started slowly and found ourselves a couple of goals down, but the team showed great character and determination to turn things around.

We got ourselves back into the game with a couple of own goals from Salford, before Yannick added another. We also created plenty of chances and could have had more on another day.

The game finished all square, but well done to everyone — the whole team played really well, battled throughout and never gave up.

U9s LSA Juniors second team Vs Manchester Girls team (MYSL)

Match Report – First Game of the Season

Brilliant start to the season today. The team put in a huge shift and came away with a well‑deserved win. More importantly, the attitude, effort, and teamwork were outstanding from every single player.

Overall Performance

Once we had even teams, the game settled and the boys really showed what they can do. They worked hard for each other, stayed positive, and kept pushing right until the final whistle. No complaints, no moaning — just pure effort and enjoyment. Exactly what we want at this stage of the season.

Key Highlights

• Sol was everywhere today. A hat-trick, Parents’ Player of the Match, and constant work rate in every position he played. Defended, attacked, chased back — a proper all‑round performance.

• Theodore earned Manager’s Player of the Match with solid defending throughout. Calm, reliable, and consistently making the right decisions.

• Wilson took his goal really well and kept driving forward whenever he had the chance.

• Light grabbed a goal too.

• Marshall was immense in goal. I genuinely lost count of the saves — he kept us comfortable and confident all game.

• Alfie & Freddy worked their socks off in multiple positions. Non-stop running, great attitude, and always involved.

First game of the season in MYSL. What a close match! The score really could have gone either way. The lads played brilliantly and battled throughout, showing great effort, determination and teamwork.

It was lovely to hear the opposition coach say that our lads are a credit to us.
