Managers player had to go to Ethan Warman after he got a hat trick. Winning a penalty and converting it and winning a free kick he then took and fired it past the keeper. His other goal was superbly placed past the goalkeeper. He was unplayable and he got a hat trick for his efforts!

Man of the match went to the skipper Callum Ashton who was solid at centre half and lead the team to the victory. Winning many duels against the Bromley Green attack. He has deserved this after recent performances.

On Sunday in our last pre season game we came out 4-2 winners away to Bromley Green Reserves FC. Finding ourselves 2-0 down the lads showed incredible fight and turned the game around winning 4-2. It was a good test and a good way to end our pre season campaign.

Managers player of the match vs Stanhope was Ethan Warman. Ethan was unplayable and caused them a nightmare. Scoring a sensational goal and winning a penalty to get us back level after being 2-0 down.

Man of the match picked by Stanhope was Martin Roberts Cadenhead. Martin made some good saves and was a real leader from between the sticks.

Sorry for the delay in the post. But last Sunday we lost to Stanhope reserves. We had a small squad available and the lads gave it a good go and on another day if we took our chances we put the game to bed.

Next up for Sellindge is Stanhope and Beaver Rangers reserves FC. This should be a good physical test for the lads and we are hopeful of getting a good result.

Managers players of the match this week could have gone to several people but the one who got it was Kye Chapman. Kye was a threat whenever he got the ball. He got an assist with his head and no one thought he could head a ball that well. But Kye also took his goal well and got stuck in and added to his impressive pre season record so far. Keep it up Kye.💪🏼

Man of the match picked by the opposition was Harvey Donnelly. Harvey was a threat all game and caused them problems from the first minute to the last. This was Harvey’s second game for the club and the young forward added another 2 goals to his pre season tally.
