A wonderful morning was had at Hilary's Hut's information event. With local residents enjoying monthly meets, the community truly comes together in a welcoming space with a variety of activities, great cake and not to be missed proper mugs of tea or coffee. Thanks to Nichola Cornes and all the volunteers who help to make this possible.
We enjoyed meeting some of the visitors and sharing how taking control in later life can truly help to live well for longer, and how gaining more independence with the support of a trusted companion can open a world of opportunities and freedom.
It was also great to be amongst other local support services, some of which we have built strong relations over time. Such as Nicola from Grey Matters Consultancy - Twickenham, Robyn from Rivermede Court Care Home and Tina from FindGoodCare.

It's a special day today, one where we celebrate Debs working with Companionship Services for 2 whole years.
How time flies. One of the longest standing members of this still fairly young venture.
