Oxford Half Marathon โ
First run since London Landmarks back in April.
Oxford ran in 02:24:13, proud of myself for it, considering I've not run in like 6 months.
It was great fun to be back and to see friends. Now my legs are dead...argh! Have I missed this feeling ๐คฃ

Cardiff Half Marathon โ
That was difficult...not ran this year at all and decided to do Cardiff Half. Well I did book it in 2019 ๐คฃ
I had a fantastic time in Wales, very friendly people, beautiful Country and the weather was just pure sun ๐โ๏ธ
It was difficult, my legs died at like mile 9, and now they are really sore and hurting me.
But I did it! Ran my first half marathon of the year, or first running event shall I say.
Have to thank Rowan for coming to Wales with me and supporting me for the run ๐
For now, I shall recover as I can't walk, got LLHM this Sunday too ๐
Date: 27-03-2022
Distance: Half Marathon

First post in a long time! (First post this year!)
I've been so busy with work, life came up and I've done my back in! - not sure how exactly though.
For now, my back is 95% pain free, but I still have that 1 day a week where it seems to be sore/painful.
I currently go chiropractor twice a week, and today I started the gym to go side by side.
I really enjoyed it, 10 min very easy jog to warm up and 3 sets of 15 reps for each muscle group on the weights. I dare to go any lower in reps or more weight.
I'm hoping that chiropractor, gym and FIIT (Yoga, stretching) and massage gun help my back, well got no choice really.
Cardiff half is coming up, and been waiting so long for it! Definitely can't run it. I'm not even sure if walking that distance would be a smart idea!
Anyway, I'm back! Just in a different way, starting from the bottom again! But will get there, by being smart - not "running" it off

Battersea Park,
Tonights run was the Battersea Park 5k. It was cold out tonight but no wind ๐
Got to say the cold messed up my breathing, shot off fast and nearly instantly I knew I had to slow it.
Came in just shy of 27 minutes. Got to take a selfie with Mr Snowman so a win win ๐
Last Christmas run for Me, may do a Christmas day morning parkrun.....if they still do them.
