Ladies Golf Coaching Programme for the winter presented by Dominic Po***ck:

The Programme starts on Thursday 10th September and includes two six week coaching blocks along with two individual 30 minute lessons during the break.

There are two groups available, 6pm to 7pm and 7pm to 8pm, with a maximum of 12 ladies per group.

Congratulations to County Armagh Golf Club Ladies who overcame a strong Belturbet Golf Club in a sporting match to win The Challenge Trophy Final at Rossmore Golf Club.

The Annual Pretty in Pink Open Competition opens at 09:00am tomorrow morning Thursday 20th August.

This is just a reminder to all players to please wear as much pink as possible on the day.

There will be a prize for the best dressed Lady & Gentleman.

In addition to the competition prizes, we also have 10 fourball vouchers which have been kindly donated by various clubs in the surrounding area.

There was some excellent scoring across the two days of President John Lowe's competition, with Chris Crowe, playing off 22, carding an excellent 45 points to claim the main prize.
He was closely followed home by Stuart Lee, playing off 11, who gathered an impressive 44 point haul to claim the 2nd place prize.
Barry McGurgan, off 16, came 3rd by virtue of countback as he pushed Ann McDonald, playing off 36, into 4th with both of them amassing 43 points.
Lynne Brown, playing off 22, proved the best of the 42 pointers and captured 5th overall with Stephen Nugent, off 17, also on 42 pts, finishing off the main prizewinners in 6th place.
