Scarborough Gold Cup:

Dixon Joins in with Thompson.

Kent’s Ryan Dixon will partner TH Racings Joey Thompson in the final road race of the season for the team at the Gold Cup in Scarborough next weekend. Dixon, who was voted the best newcomer at the Olivers Mount circuit in 2025, was given a life line by the team after his normal rides became unavailable for the Gold Cup meeting.
Having gotten to know Ryan well over the past few seasons, the TH Racing Team where only to glad to reach out to the 37 year old to join the teams number one rider Joey Thompson at the Olivers Mount venue, where Dixon will ride one of the TH Racings CBR600RR Supersport Hondas, and the Hywel Griffiths ER650 Supertwin Kawasaki.

Ryan Dixon: “I’d like the thank the TH Racing Team for giving me the chance of a run out on their bikes at the Gold Cup at the eleventh hour. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing what we can do over the weekend. It will also be great to be a team mate to Joey Thompson whom I’ve known for quite sometime”.

Day Two

Dave Morgan Invitational Race:

Joey Thompson rounded off the perfect weekend for the TH Racing Team by winning the Dave Morgan Invitational Race held over ten laps of the Aberdare Park.
Held in scorching conditions, Thompson, Ryan Dixon and Dean McMaster on the second TH Racing Honda put on a high speed display, but Thompsons determination and will to win proved to hot to handle as he took the final win of the weekend in popular fashion. Ryan Dixon finished a close second with Dean McMaster who has been in excellent form all weekend, again set his personal best lap of the circuit with a 39.516s lap.
Jay Bellers Smith finished in fourth place, Joey Lambden fifth and Liam Wood sixth.

Welsh Open Grand Final

Joey Thompson and Dean McMaster rounded off their Aberdare Park Races in style with Joey taking second place and Dean fourth.
The race was won by Aberdare Park specialist Ryan Dixon who was on super form all weekend.
Joey Thompson set the fastest lap of the race with a 38.950s lap while Dean McMaster again set a personal best Aberdare lap in 39.550s.

Supersport Final 2

TH Racings Joey Thompson & Dean McMaster both set their fastest laps of the weekend in the Supersport Final 2 on Sunday with Thompson taking second place, just 0.123s behind race winner Ryan Dixon.
This pair where hounded all the way by impressive Joey Lambden who finished in third place a further 0.200 seconds behind Thompson, who set his fastest lap of 38.964s, with Lambden setting the fastest lap of the race with a 38.952s lap.
Dean McMaster on the second TH Racing Honda finished in fourth place and set his fastest lap of the weekend at 39.591s.
Jay Bellers Smith finished in 5th place while Matthew Bell rounded off the top six.

Supertwins Final 2

Joey Thompson on the TH Racing Aprilia stormed to a fine race win in the Supertwins final on Sunday afternoon. After catching and passing early race leader William Holland, Thompson never looked back as he took the narrow win by 0.22 seconds from Holland with Dean McMaster on the TH Racing/Hywel Griffiths Kawasaki third.

Supersport 600 Heat Two:

A crafty move by Joey Thompson on the TH Racing CBR600 Honda saw him set the fastest heat lap to cement a front row start in the Supersport 600 Final later in the day.
Earlier in heat one, Ryan Dixon and Joey Lambden had set fastest laps to secure the first two of three places on the front row and rather get bogged down in a scrap at the front, Thompson played an ace card by holding back from the leaders to obtain a clear path and set a blistering lap of 39.284s to secure the final front row placing.
Jay Bellers Smith was the start to finish victor in the 10 lap heat race with TH Racings Dean McMaster a fine third and Joey second

Day Two:

Supertwins Final 1

A cracking high speed ten lap race was produced between Ryan Dixon and Joey Thompson with William Holland keeping the leading duo honest just metres behind in a thrilling ten lap race.
Dixon got the hole shot and lead on lap one but Joey Thompson on the TH Racing Aprilia shot to the front and started to look comfortable as the race progressed. Into the closing stages it was still Thompson as they entered the last lap, but a back marker ruined the race for Thompson as they rounded the pond park blocking him in and letting Dixon squeeze through on the inside to rob Joey of an almost certain win. In the end, Dixon crossed the line with 0.5 seconds to spare over Thompson with William Holland third. Dean McMaster on the TH Racing /Hywel Griffiths ER6 Kawasaki set his fastest lap of the Aberdare circuit with a 39.881s lap on his way into 4th place.

Supertwins Race One:

Th Racings Joey Thompson took third place on his RS660 Aprilia on Sunday morning in the first of the Supertwins Races. In a precession like sprint race, Thompson was sat behind race winner Ryan Dixon and runner up William Holland with this trio never looking to be passed. At the flag is was just 0.43 seconds that split 1st to 3rd with Dean McMaster on the TH Racing/Hywel Griffiths ER6 Kawasaki taking fourth place with Sam Johnson fifth and Liam Wood sixth.
Joey Thompson took the fastest lap of the race with a lap time of 40.067s.
