⚽️ MATCH REPORT | PJDYFL ⚽️
Yesterday morning we played our second PJDYFL game, welcoming Bridge of Weir to Winton Park. As expected, it was a tough game against a very good side, but the boys gave us a fantastic, close game from start to finish.
In the first half, the boys worked really well together but struggled to find that final touch and finish. We knew going into the second half that we had to be smarter and more clinical on the ball, link up better and make the most of our opportunities.
The boys came out in the second half playing some much better football. The passing and link-up play improved, we looked stronger and continued to put pressure on Bridge of Weir.
Then, after 51 minutes, we finally got our reward! 🙌 A great free kick from Kayden was delivered into the box, where Cammy was waiting to finish it off! ⚽️🔥
From there, the boys continued to press, work hard and defend their lead right until the final whistle. It was a brilliant team effort against a very strong Bridge of Weir side.

A thoroughly deserved POTM award for Kayden, who was excellent from start to finish. He defended brilliantly, won challenges, worked hard and was a real stand-out performer at the back.

Another massive shoutout to our keeper Carter! He was constantly motivating the boys, encouraging them from his goal line and keeping everyone switched on throughout the game. And to top it off…
