Today Andreous hosted Brechin side F.C Nova in the pre season friendly cup with Andreous needing the win to top the group.

Andreous started the game hot holding possession well moving nova’s structure around creating pockets of space for each other working well as a team. The deadlock was broken when Dan McGuire found Cameron Vaughan in space who unlocked the nova defence with a wizardry killer pass to wing back keelan geddes who smashed it across goal into the bottom corner. Nova started to make the game competitive and dirty but the Andreous defence kept it solid to see us into the half way mark 1-0 up.
HT 1-0

Second half under way saw momentum fall into Nova’s favour getting up the park more and more some big saves from Tyler webly too keep Andy’s ahead. Nova found the net through a scrappy corner Andreous manager made the tactical move to make subs bringing Bruce Donaldson, Richard perrie and dragoz on the field proving to be a good move when Daniel McGuire spotted Owen Martin’s run in behind beating his man to cut inside and finding Stephen brown who set it back for dragoz to slot home perfectly into the bottom corner 2-1 Andreous 15 minutes to go another couple changes for Andreous bringing on Nathan dear and Liam McKenna on to see the out the game. Andreous found the net again through George Preston but was called offside sadly and that was as game. FT 2-1 Andreous
