Appledore Women 4 - 3 Braunton Women

Back to winning ways!

A really good team performance after a week which has seen new management & the girls really coming together🧡

First half saw us go 2-0 up after Beth fired in from the left and then Kelly calmly slotted a penalty home after Freya was brought down in the penalty area.

Second half we came out trying to maintain the momentum, Laylah calmly finishes for 3-0. An Appledore own goal then gave Braunton some fire, before Beth took control, carried the ball past 2 and fired home! Braunton then had some fight in them with a good worked goal and then a worldie for 4-3. Great grit and determination showed by the girls to hang on in the last 10 minutes and claim the 3 points.

Sorry admin has been slacking!

This weekend, we returned to the Devon League away at Crediton, despite taking an early lead, we were unable to hang on to claim the win.
