Appleby Golf Club Appleby Golf Club, ranked 94th best course in England, situated in the beautiful Eden valley.

an 18 hole golf course set between the Pennines, the lakeland fells and the Howgills. The holes go around in an anti-clockwise circle with uniquely no two holes running alongside each other. Due the sub strata, the course drains water and is playable all year, usually to full greens. The greens are recognized as the best in the area over the whole year. Although there are no par 5's, there are several long par 4's and with its 'links type' feel, the wind can make this a test for any caliber of golfer.

Join us at Appleby Golf Club on Saturday 26th September for what promises to be a fantastic evening of racing, fun, food and fundraising.

🕕 Doors Open: 6:00pm
🏇 First Race: 7:00pm
🍽️ £10 per person including a delicious Pie & Pea Supper

All profits from the evening will be donated to the Upper Eden Food Bank.

EVMGT – 2 Down, 1 to Go!

After heavy rain overnight, it was touch and go, but AGC’s fantastic drainage really shone through. We got started on time and, despite a very cold and windy day, it was another great day of golf.

Well done to everyone — some cracking scores are coming in! 👏

Day 3 tomorrow, and with some very close scores, it’s still wide open and anyone’s game.

What a great day for the Eden Valley Mixed Golf Tournament! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Some fantastic scores, great competition and, thankfully, the weather held for most of the day! 🌤️

Now it’s on to Day 2, with action continuing tomorrow at Appleby, Brampton and Penrith Golf Clubs.

Have you ever thought about giving golf a try? Or maybe you'd like to get back into the game? Now's the perfect opportunity!

Join us for a relaxed, fun and welcoming session designed for women of all abilities. No experience is necessary – just bring a willingness to have a go!

🏌️‍♀️ The session will follow the same format as our popular introductory taster, and we're planning to run at least one session every month going forward.

Whether they're picking up a club for the very first time or looking to improve their game, our friendly coaching sessions are perfect for children aged 6–18.
