Football club in Antrim competing in the Ballymena Premier Intermediate league

29/08/2026

Before we give an update on today's win over Brantwood, Chimney Corner Football Club is delighted to officially announce the signing of attacker, Leon Graham.

Since arriving at Allen park a few weeks ago the young forward has found the net 3 times in 3 games and will undoubtedly add further firepower to the front line.

Boss McIlveen adds, "Leon has went through a tough time with injury since he has left Cliftonville FC. We know he is a talented boy and I feel we are a good fit at this stage to get him back to his best. Leon will add goals & quality at the top end of the pitch."

Welcome to Allen Park, Leon!

On Tuesday evening the First team produced a clincial performance against a spiritied Tobermore side.

Adam Walker grabbed himself 4 on the night, with Leon Graham grabbing a brace and Jake McNeill continuing his goalscoring form to round off the scoring.

Samuel McIlveen and his management team will have been delighted with some of the football displayed last night, and will be aiming for more of the same this weekend.

Many thanks for your support!

Saturday saw us fall short on our travels as we went down 3-2 to Killymoon

Despite an excellent first half which saw us go into half time 1-0 up thanks to a Conan McAuley goal, a disastorus 10 mins early in the second half saw Killymoom score 3 goals.

We found ourselves down to 10 men with Conan seeing red, but the 10 men pushed and battled, with Adam Walker getting a goal back in the 90th min, but it was just too late for us to get something from the game.

We now look forward to Tuesday evening as we welcome Tobermore United to Allen Park for a league tie.

As always, thanks for your support!

Here at Chimney Corner Football Club, we are absolutely thrilled with the unanimous decision from the council committee to grant planning approval for our coffee dock. After a nearly two-year journey, this fantastic outcome provides our club with long-term stability and removes the uncertainty that has hung over us.

Knowing that we can finally move forward without the threat of closure allows us to focus entirely on investing in our facilities and creating an even more welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our gates.

This positive result is set to have a wonderful ripple effect across every level of the club, from our youngest mini-soccer participants taking their very first kicks to our senior teams grinding out weekend matches.

The coffee dock has become a vital community hub where parents, players, and supporters gather to connect, share a warm drink, and celebrate local football. With our future now secure, we can continue fostering that vital community spirit, supporting our players of all ages, and looking ahead to an exciting, thriving chapter for Chimney Corner FC.
