Hello motorcycle road race fans, we have set this page up to provide a platform to keep you up to date on our plans for the Ulster Grand Prix to return in 2027.
We have had several constructive meetings with various departments and agencies since the press release back in November at Stormont.
These include the local residents, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, local MLA's, Open-reach, DFI Roads department Lisburn area.
Other meetings are positive and ongoing with several potential sponsors already contacted the business management team.
Great to have Des Stewart and the Ulster Grand Supporter Club behind the plans.
We will need all the support of the fans to insure this event returns with a "World Class" event.

Elder statesman got up early doors b4 shunrise 🌅
& headed for Mexico 🇲🇽
To the wee Athboy track in county Meath
Arrived @ 7.30
So did the rain 🌧 🤔
Got both bikes scrutineered
& onward to qualifying stock 2
9th in sketchy conditions
Long delays with showers 🌧 after
showers
Then just as most had thought it was all over for the day
The yatta yatta sundance tribe 🕺 💃 🌞 ☀️ arrived & mysteriously dried the track
& off we goes
Yeeeeeeha
Vets qualifying next up elder qualifying 8th

Race 1 stock2
Elder mixing with the younger folk came home 8th spot
race 2 finishing
10th spot
&
race 3 finishing 6th spot 👌

As elder had purposefully avoided a nap 😴

Senior statesman took the decision to travel the vast distance to nutts corner circuit Saturday afternoon for final set-up practice for round one on the sunday No1 bike 🏍 was runnin sweet and no2 bike was runnin ok a tad under geared ⚙️
There was a few Cabin fever merchants in the first lap Practicing cuddling manoeuvres coming outta turn 5
Thanks for the entertainment 🤸 guys ...
And so to bed 🛌 💤

Sunday arrived warm & Sunny 🌞 ☀️
First up qualifying for the stock2 class where the
'aule boy bagged 15th slot happy nuf amongst the young bucks
And
Then onto the vets class finishing up 13th

Race 🏁 one
Stock2 senior ended up 16th
& Vets class
Race 1 10th

Just a chain ⛓️ adjustment on bike no1
& he was ready to roll in stock2

Race 2 where he ended up 13th slot
Vets class
Race 2 saw elder vag another 10th slot

Things were going good.....
Stock2 race3
Saw elder having to revert to bike 🏍 no2
As the carb mount split on no1 bike 🏍
But was underpowered due to wrong gearing ⚙️....
Finishing 16th slot

Undeterred he swopped the rubber mount onto no1 bike 🏍 thinking 🤔 this would be tickedy boo

As he entered his last race
Vets class
Only for the carb mount to split again & head gasket to 💩 its pants 💨
causing a dnf on the last lap
He says he wasn't crying 😭 but boss lady Eva was apparently on hand to capture a snap 📸 of the tearful pensioner....

Ah well
it was reported he said
'education is a wonderful thing'
amongst other choice phrases #÷=☆□¥₩》...

All in all a good day
Progress was made
Albeit to bath 🛁 & bed
But
Progress is progress

Good to see him back
& with junior statesman retuning soon from USA 🇺🇸
We could see all 3 of the statesmen. In attendance at a round soon
