To help us make the most of every minute in the pool, please ensure:

🥽 Goggles – If your child wishes to wear goggles, please send them with their own well-fitting, pre-adjusted pair. Valuable swimming time is being lost fitting and adjusting goggles during lessons.

🎀 Long hair – Please make sure hair is securely tied back before the lesson. This is important for safety and comfort while swimming.

This week we have waved goodbye to Ellie and Dawid ❤️

They’ve both been fantastic members of the Solway Stars team, and we’ve loved having them with us. Hardworking, reliable and always smiling, they’ve been a real credit to themselves.

As they leave school and head off to further education, we wish them both every success and happiness for the future. We know they’ll go on to do amazing things.

🌊 Beach Safety Week is Here! ☀️

Our Beach Safety themed lessons will remind swimmers of these important water safety messages while giving them the opportunity to practise vital lifesaving skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

By learning through play and practical activities, swimmers will build confidence and develop skills that could one day help keep themselves or someone else safe around the water.

We can't wait to see everyone getting involved! 🏖️💙
