A bitter sweet one here. After over a decade with us, having now finished sixth form, we will be losing Libbie to the world of adulting (I’ve told her it’s completely overrated guys but she won’t have it 😂).

Since starting here with us as a fresh faced, smiley little kid with a lovely nature, we have seen her grow over ten years into a fresh faced, smiley young ‘lady’…..with a lovely nature!

Fear not, she’ll still be knocking about from time to time and Chloe and I will always try to rope her in for gradings 😉

She will now start work with midlands brand and our loss is their gain.

Libs, you’ve been a little star for us, you will continue that pattern wherever you go. Keep smiling, keep working kiddo.

Absolutely gutted to hear about this tragedy. was the reason my middle son .fie6033 wanted to drag me up the three highest mountains in Britain. As a result, we made incredible memories of harsh weather, unforgiving terrain, my 90 year old knees, questionable navigation and epic vehicle based karaoke. Things that are simply priceless in my humble opinion.

Nims even was kind enough to send Alfie a signed picture and a little hand written note congratulating him on his efforts.

With all the BS on social media nowadays, the term ‘inspiration’ gets chucked around so much more than it should, with the celebration of utter mediocrity. But this man was genuinely an inspiration and an absolute legend. So many people, thanks to him, will now strive to push beyond what is deemed ‘impossible’.

Closer to home he inspired Alf to want to climb mountains, and as a result, created priceless memories for us. I for one, am forever grateful for that.

If you haven’t read his book or watched the documentary, please do so. You will not regret it. Superhuman is an understatement.
