1st XV Captaincy Team Confirmed 💙💛🦁

We’re delighted to announce our leadership group for the season ahead.

🏉 Callum Burn retains the captaincy, continuing the excellent leadership and commitment he has shown both on and off the field.

🏉 Joining him as Co-Captain is Matty Gray, whose passion, work ethic, and dedication to the club make him a natural fit for the role.

🏉 Supporting them both as Vice-Captain is James Blackett, a player who leads by example every time he steps onto the pitch.

Three lads who wear the badge with pride and set the standard for those around them. We look forward to seeing them lead the squad into another exciting season.

Congratulations to the Northumberland Senior Team on reaching the Senior Men’s County Championship Final against North Midlands at Twickenham this Sunday, 7 June 2026, with a 3pm kick-off.

Supporters Bus for Sunday:
County is exploring whether to run a supporters bus for the final. It would be a same-day return trip.
· Pick-up and drop-off points: Alnwick RFC and Northern FC (bus stop outside).
· Cost: approximately £50 return per person.
· Match entry is free.
· Please send expressions of interest by 9am tomorrow so viability can be assessed/ [email protected]

Yesterday we had 8 Alnwick lads representing Northumberland RFU when they played Durham 💙💛🏉

The lads came away with with win which puts them through to the semi final
