CHAMPIONS... AGAIN!

Calne Town WFC 70s have won the GloucestershireFA Walking Football Over 70s League 2025/26. Unbeaten and conceding only four goals all season, the Invincibles have added another table topping performance to the 2022/23 Champions title.

Calne Town Walking Football Club are saying goodbye to two of their stalwarts - Jeff D, on his way back to Wales (land of his fathers), and Paul W, off to Italy (land of his wife).

There was, as usual, some good football and a good turnout at Beversbrook on Wednesday to say Hwyl and Ciao, and bid best wishes to both. 🖤💚

Ladies who like football (or may like football)…

It’s great news that our friends and neighbours at Melksham WFC have got a ladies evening recreational session back up and running at Forest & Sandridge School, Melksham, SN12 7GN.

At CTWFC we have tried to get evening sessions at Beversbrook to fit in with those who have work and family commitments during daylight hours, and will keep trying.

But until then, whatever your ability, if you’re over 35 join the good ladies of Melksham WFC and give it a go 😁👍

BEVERSBROOK RECREATIONAL : CHANGE OF TIME

Due to a double booking 🙄 an 11-a-side game will be kicking-off at 3:30 on Wednesday 30 April (short notice indeed!!)

As such our usual recreational session has been rescheduled to take place from 1:30 > 3:00pm.

Good weather should see a good turnout and whether or not you're a regular you're welcome to join us. Bring your footy boots, £4, a drink of water and some sunscreen!
