On a brighter note, at least I might get a chance to get this back in action.
Just looking at it brings back many happy memories!
There's been a few changes in bikes since then but still a very distinctive bike.

I forgot to say that Clackmannan Road will be shut from the 11th for 11 days.
I'm not sure what that means for workshop access but I'll pop down on Monday and check the situation then let everyone know.

I hope everyone has been enjoying our wee spell of half decent weather, it's certainly kept the workshop busy. The last few weeks have flown by.
Workshop will be closed on Monday for the bank holiday.

Sorry for the late notice and inconvenience but the workshop will be closed today and tomorrow.
I'm swapping the allen keys for spanners and going to skin my knuckles fixing the van.
I'll be back in on Wednesday.

I'll be back in the workshop on Monday 5th. Few repairs lined up already but spaces left for January if you are fast.

That's the advent countdown begun!

I hope everyone is getting prepared and stocked up. I'm actually 1 step ahead having bought a few gifts already which is new, I'm usually last minute.

I'm going to be sticking my old downhill bike up for sale soon if you know of someone who'd like it under their Xmas tree with a bow on.

Remember to check and grease your seatpost regularly, especially if it's a dropper post.
I had one last week that the puller wouldn't touch due to odd shaped frame.
I hung it upside down and stuck some plusgas oil down the seat tube and left it over the weekend. It took over an hour of heat and wrestling to remove. You can see it was corroded it's whole insertion.
I always aim to get them out complete if possible but sometimes the post needs sacrificing to save the frame.

I hope everyone is enjoying being plunged into darkness. It happens every year but still catches me out.

Slight change to my opening hours as I'm doing my Dads taxi bit getting my boy from Falkirk college. I'll be away most days at 4.15 and Friday I'm away at 3.15.
