£6,500 DONATED BACK INTO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY ❤️

We’re delighted to share that £6,500 has been donated to two fantastic local causes, thanks to the incredible support we receive from our Alloa Half Marathon community.

🎁 £5,000 – Love in a Box

We’re really pleased to support Love in a box again this year with a £5,000 donation towards the amazing work they do sourcing Christmas gifts for underprivileged children across Clackmannanshire and making sure those gifts reach the children who need them most.

It’s a huge undertaking, and the volunteers work throughout the year to make it happen. We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in supporting their efforts again this Christmas.

🏃 £1,500 – Wee County Harriers

We’ve also donated £1,500 to the Wee County Harriers as part of our continued commitment to supporting local sports clubs, physical activity and wellbeing.

The Harriers also give a huge amount back to the Alloa Half Marathon itself, volunteering their time in the lead-up to the event, on race day and afterwards. Quite simply, we couldn’t deliver the event without the support of volunteers and clubs like them.

And the important bit – this money comes from you.

The funds we’re able to donate are only possible because of the incredible support we receive from the community through events such as the Alloa Half Marathon and Sparks in the Park.

Every entry, every volunteer, every sponsor and everyone who comes along and supports our events helps us put money straight back into local organisations and good causes.

£6,500 back into the community – and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you! ❤️
