Following the success of last year’s , we are proud to welcome golfers back to Tulliallan for the 2nd Steven Horne Open.

Last year’s event was a fantastic tribute to Steven and raised an incredible £3,865 for Strathcarron Hospice — a tremendous achievement from everyone who played, supported, sponsored and helped on the day.

Steven, who sadly passed away in 2024 at the age of 46, was a much-loved member of the golfing community and a golfer of real pedigree. This event is about celebrating his life, sharing fond memories, recognising his contribution to the game, and remembering the lasting impact he had on those who knew him.
Steven’s international career highlights included selection for the Scotland Youths v Ireland match in 1997, the Home Internationals in 1997 and 1998, the Scottish Youths v Irish Youths match in 1998, the European Youths Championship in Belgium in 1998, and the Chiberta Grand Prix in Biarritz, France in 1998.

This competition is about more than just golf. It is a chance to come together in Steven’s memory while supporting the vital work of Strathcarron Hospice.

🍾🍾Historic Jamboree Victory for Stirling & Clackmannan County Ladies🍾🍾

Tulliallan Golf Club was extremely proud to host the 2026 East Division Inter-County Jamboree, contested between Stirling & Clackmannan, East Lothian, Midlothian and Fife.

The Jamboree is one of the key fixtures in Scottish women’s county golf, played over three days on a round-robin match-play basis, with the winning county progressing to the Scottish Women’s County Finals.

🏌‍♀🏌‍♀After three days of highly competitive golf in trying conditions at Tulliallan Golf Club, Stirling & Clackmannan County Ladies Golf Association were crowned Inter-County Jamboree Winners for 2026, securing victory by the narrowest of margins — just half a point. 🏌‍♀🏌‍♀

That makes the achievement even more impressive. Against strong opposition from East Lothian, Midlothian and Fife, every match, every hole and every half-point mattered. This was not a comfortable win; it was earned the hard way.

🏆🏆The victory is also a historic one, marking Stirling & Clackmannan’s first Jamboree success since 2003. 🏆🏆

On behalf of everyone at Tulliallan Golf Club, congratulations to the full Stirling & Clackmannan team, their captain, caddies, officials, organisers and supporters. It was a privilege to host such an important county event, and we are delighted that it produced such a memorable and hard-fought win for the home county.

A fantastic achievement. A historic win. And one secured by just half a point. 🏅
