As your instructor, you might notice that I ask questions during class—and there’s a reason for every single one.

💬 “How are you feeling today?”
Because your body isn’t the same every day. Energy levels, stress, sleep, injuries, hormones, and life all affect how you move. Knowing how you’re feeling helps me tailor my cues and support you safely.

💬 “Where do you feel that exercise?”
Pilates is about quality of movement, not just completing the exercise. Your answer tells me whether the right muscles are working or if we need to adjust your position, breathing, or technique.

💬 “You’re not feeling that in your back or neck, are you?”
Your back and neck should never be doing the work that your core, glutes, or other muscles are meant to do. If you are feeling discomfort there, it’s my cue to modify the exercise before it becomes a problem.

💬 “Where are you feeling it? / Where do you think you should feel it?”
Sometimes I’ll answer your question with another question! That’s because I want you to become more aware of your own body.
Pilates isn’t just about following instructions—it’s about developing body awareness so you can recognise when something feels right, when it doesn’t, and how to make adjustments yourself.

My goal isn’t just to give you a great workout. It’s to help you understand your body, move with confidence, and build a stronger mind-body connection that you can take into everyday life.

Because the more aware you become, the better you move. ✨

Morning! We made it to the weekend 🙌🏻

My trip to New York next week has been cancelled last minute (don’t get me started 🤣)

As I’d already cancelled all my classes I thought I was getting a week off the second job! But no! I’m not! I’m doing some cover at The Hive to allow Dom to build our beautiful new studio.

So you’ve got me
🐝 Monday 5.00pm, 6.00pm & 7.30pm
🐝 Tuesday 6.30am & 6.00pm
🐝 Friday 6.30am
The Hive Reformer Pilates Studio

I’d love you to book on and come see me.
If class is full please use the wait list option. I know someone will cancel in the next couple of days. It always happens when life changes plans!

Enjoy the weekend 🩷
