An important reminder to all visitors, riders and supporters of Golden Valley Equestrian Centre. 🐴

The welfare of all horses is our highest priority, and we are committed to providing a calm, respectful environment for them.

We have a zero tolerance policy to excessive, inappropriate use of whips or any form of unnecessary force.
In addition, we have a zero tolerance to rude, aggressive or antisocial behaviour towards any member of staff, volunteer, fellow competitor, spectators or visitors.

Anyone demonstrating this behaviour will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be permitted to attend any future events.

We are extremely proud of the friendly and supportive community we’ve built here, and we ask everyone to play their part by treating both horses and people with kindness, patience and respect at all times.

Thank you to everyone who helps make our events enjoyable, safe and positive for all. We truly appreciate your continued support and cooperation.

Please be mindful that we are accepting entries on the day so these numbers are expected to change.

☀️We are aware of the temperature that has been forecast for tomorrow, we will monitor it through the day and makes changes accordingly so that all horses and competitors welfare is our utmost priority. We will make everyone aware of what these changes may be on the day.
We do have shaded areas in and around our car park and our warm- up arena is cooling as the breeze can get through the sides of the arena☀️

💦 There is a tap in our car park and we will have buckets of water throughout the car park which we will keep full💦

👔 We are happy for competitors to not wear show jackets to try and enable everyone to keep cool as possible.👔

Please see the schedule that is pinned to the top of our page. We have made the decision to use the full outdoor arena for our working hunter course therefore the ridden and the in-hand will both be held in our large spacious indoor. The warm up will be in the covered arena🙂
